Empires of Space Role-Play | An Open-Aura reconfigured Game-Mode; as well as customily made content

It's amazing how no one seems to pay any attention to what they have been told. You've asked me this over chat before. This story didn't take me two years; it was written two years ago, and over the course of those two years, it was revisited here and there. Eventually it was turned into a series of books; after I finished two of them revolving around a single character and a group of others he traveled with, which were utterly scrapped.
I've spent two long years revising, and beginning to write out events for this role-play.

Alright, if you want to be picky. Events do not a good game make. If the GAMEPLAY is fundamentally dull (which pretty much every serious RP is) it won't get anywhere. You've yet to actually say what unique features this gamemode has apart from "space" that sets it apart :/
I've yet to claim they ever do. All I did was state the work I've done.

Then why not talk more about the features it'll have..?
All I've read from that are stuff built into the map, and things you "plan" on doing, I cannot see any custom scripted content there that requires 4 months of development to make. Why don't you do every reader here a favour a list exactly what the additions to the schema that actually make it different are?
You can call a zombie attack every 20 minutes "childish" but it's FUN to play with, and that's precisely some successful servers do that.
I apologise for sounding like an ass, but I'm trying to get my point across that you need to think realistically and not make broad claims that will either A: not be fulfilled or B: not attract any players, and it'll be a wasted effort.
RP population is slowly declining as of late, so something really new a special must be brought to the table if you plan on getting this popular.
I understand where you are coming from, it's a valid point. As a community, we will always attempt to keep role-play interesting and varied. This is why I have created the storyline, it is rather varied from many others, in the way that it all begins and the way it will be played out.
As for a list of what to expect, I believe a wall of text wouldn't do much for us. I'll post a few key things, to save me time, and the readers.
- Yes; we have a dynamic story-line in hopes it will lead to a new style of role-play, no longer being an oppressed human, or a waste-lander. hopefully offering a new broad range of expansion in which a player can take.
- Amazingly not many servers take into account a person can go off duty and on duty, depending on the job. We've got it set so there is a base set of player models for every faction, and than they will spawn with their uniform as an item they can wear. this opens up the ability to spy on someones faction, or the ability to skip work and party at the bar with friends.
- We have over 200+ models easily; whether they are donators models as a perk for helping the server stay afloat, as well as pay for an official team of coders/etc. Or open to any player to use as their base model. Yes, a lot of content some may say but its more enjoyable than staring at the normal HL2 skinned citizen.
At this point, we're just trying to get the server up and running for initial tests, when it goes up and is ready with the base set up. Open beta begins, from there more and more will be changed to make it more unique. I apologize that I haven't given a detailed list of what is included already, and being done to be included in the near future. Later on tonight, I'll edit this post with a larger list of what we have included entirely.
Just another small list of included pieces to make us different than the average server.
-Flyable ships.
-Open environment, able to be altered by the player-base after a small amount of proof they won't abuse, and actually wish to use it. (Filling out a full Character Profile and having it accepted, gets you basic pet flags. Which entitle you to Tool gun, props, and physic gun.)
- The role-play doesn't have a set course, the reason I have so many events that I took time to plan is so their not just a line driven story. Instead you'll find that one day the armada may have a full force on the station because of a crime, and the next day the gangs of the lower levels and slums have taken over the basic station controls. the events planned don't effect the story itself, but the players within the story. Whether its a ship is mysteriously destroyed within eye view of the station, or a planet is invaded 30 sectors away. The different possibilities are as unlimited as the player base itself.
I actually can't help but laugh about this post. You talk about me and the community as if we're one person. But yet I have other members who hold the same power as me.
Also, in regard to you being a bad owner, I still stand by that belief, seeing as you've asked me to help co lead; or even admin for you what 3-4 times now?
but this isn't the place to fight over opinion.
I haven't once asked you to help co lead. I have asked you to tell me what I did wrong, and if you read the chat, you didn't tell me anything. You were VERY vauge if you were telling me something that I did wrong.

I shouldn't of begone a discussion regarding this topic in the first place. Please refrain from posting about it. If you wish to bring up a dead subject. Pm me else where.
I'm no longer going to comment regarding the subject as a whole, there's simply no reason to it anymore.
Hey, you two.
Yeah, you.
Stop derailing the crap out of this thread.
(Even though without some serious gameplay improvements {home-brewed roleplaying gamemode or other original features} it won't last long.)

...Really? They stopped well over an hour ago, and it ended with them agreeing and talking about it. Everyone, drop it. It's bad when it's people besides them, saying their poor opinions and only adding more to it.
