Installation:
( TortoiseSVN Client is required! )
1. Create a folder on your desktop called modelclipping
2. Rightclick it, choose SVN Checkout
3. Enter the link "http://modelclipping.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/" (without " ) and click ok
4. After the download process is done, copy the folder to C:\...\Steam\steamapps\<yourname>\garrysmod\garrys mod\addons .
5. Now you can delete the folder on your desktop!
6. You are done ;)
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK:
You probably have an addon what is overwriting the evenhorizon ( like cap )
so if you have cap, just delete cap\lua\entities\event_horizon
this will not have any effect on cap, it just makes the clipping work
works now ?
in cl_init.lua 3rd line you wrote mudules instead of modules deathmaker
in cl_init.lua 3rd line you wrote mudules instead of modules deathmaker
- fixed by removing the whole line. we dont even need that file included there lol
works now ?
Nope.
The eventhorizon works just like it should except the model won't clip.
Nope.

do you have any other addon that overwrites the event_horizon entitie ?
if not try delete addon\stargate\lua\entities\event_horizon
do you have any other addon that overwrites the event_horizon entitie ?
Only cap, but the eventhorizon is working, it slowly sucks in things that touch it, and teleports them to the other gate like in the video on the OP. The only problem is that modelcliping doesn't work, as in the model is visible on the other side of the eh while it's being sucked in.
I know you have to remove the queryphys.dll file to make it work, but where is it??
lua/includes/modules
lua/includes/modules
I only have gm_sqlite files there..... Do they destroy the modelclipping???
[editline]25th November 2010[/editline]
Nevermind, i got it to work. :D One of my addons is conflicting with the clipping, and im going to find out what :D
The addon Gmod Legs causes the modelclipping to fail.....
The addon Gmod Legs causes the modelclipping to fail.....
and what is not working with that addon installed ?
and what is not working with that addon installed ?
The models wont clip, you can see them behind the eventhorizon.
Hey - you said they were nocollided, yet if I stick a prop through, I can still walk into that prop, and other things can still hit the prop. you just can't grab it with your physgun. Will this ever be fixed?
