I've been waiting for something like this for a while! Good Job! No more Mingebags destroying my breakable contraptions!
1) It doesn't work :D
Oh I meant (two), 1000.
Now I don't have to use the magnetise tool! :keke:
I'm planning to add a checkbox like 'make all props I spawn unbreakable' if enough people find that useful. That kind of function will be fully compatible with prop protection addons.
Wonderful, thank you.
Could someone please tell me how I make a table etc with low health, so it will break easily when a ragdoll is dropped onto it from a low height. Could someone give me a link to an Stool or something to allow me to do this. Cheers for any help.

You're in the wrong thread. Go on the wiki to learn lua, ask your question in the lua section, not in release section and use the search function to see if someone has already ask this question.
Will players downloading unbreakable props need this STOOL for it to work?
And also, nice tool, magnetism isn't worth it for the other things it does to the prop.
Box fort wars will never be the same. :D To the point, this is a useful for contraptions. I like using boxes for various builds and it's a real pain when they break due to pressure or impact. Nice job.

Unbreakable props stays unbreakable! breakable props can be protected with this STool, and you can restore previous settings with right click! So my STool doesn't do anything on unbreakable props :D
Hey Chausette, why do your stools need to hook PlayerInitialSpawn, and why can't I change
[lua]TOOL.Category = "Constraints"[/lua]
without your stools breaking? It's annoying, all other stools I have I changed to be in one category, so I can keep my stools list much cleaner.

I hook PlayerInitiaSpawn because i want to create an entity when the first player spawn on the server, not when the server initialize itself ( hook initialize ). If you look closer, you will see at the end of the hook:[lua]hook.Remove( "PlayerInitialSpawn", ...[/lua]
For the TOOL.Category, I don't know.. I just changed:
[lua]TOOL.Category = "Constraints test"[/lua] And its work perfectly:
I think you have changed something else, so it's your fault ;) You just broke the warranty! :D
This is so helpful with wooden war contraptions before fighting.
This mod is god-like.
If you haven't noticed, if i make a object to a magnet it also gets unbreakable.
So i think i will use the magnetic tool :P :)
Thank you very much. Now I can build a wooden fort that doesn't break. :)

Nop, because you lose all physical properties with magnetize STool. And there is a bug with that STool which 'forget' to register the magnetized entities to cleanup and undo system. I released a fix here!.
And if you think you don't want to use this STool, why did you post? You know, when you post a reply, there is a little red text: 'If you don't care then don't reply'.
If I say shot a glass window with this unbreakable STool, would it be unbreakable, or does this apply to props only?

That works with all physical objects. So if the map has correctly designed glass window, this stool make them unbreakable. But before asking me if it works with something or not, try it! :D

Yeah, good point.
I'm making a comic, but each time I try and make the ragdoll lean against the window, it breaks it.
The map is trainstation_03
So if pulling something against this window can break it, that mean this window is a physical and my STool will made it unbreakable (I hope..)
Thanks, I'll test it out then.
How do you install stools?
Unzip this one in your garrysmod/addons folder. Did you read the first post ?
Yeah, I didn't see it, but then again I was tired. Sorry for the retardation!
I have a question, well actually it's my friends question... no matter..
when you make something unbreakable and upload the save file on garrysmod.org for example, will it stay unbreakable for people that don't have unbreakable?
and if not, do those with unbreakable have to use it, or will it be unbreakable because it's saved that way?
bby the way, i can't even notice your English is bad, but then again, i'm a Belgian...
No, props which have been marked as unbreakable satys unbreakable only in the current game. This unbreakable propertie is not saved to savefiles.
So... I make this post for two reasons:
1) This STool is great and I want to keep it on the top.
2) Will Advanced Duplicator save whether a prop is unbreakable or not?
EDIT: I know I'm bumping. That's half the reason of the post.
Perfect!
