Seriously. Release those weapons. The fucking HiDef pack is a son of a bitch when it comes in with Silverlan. I want to have the good oldschool weapons.

[editline]09:31AM[/editline] By the way, right now the completed weapons are weapon_hl_crowbar weapon_hl_9mmhandgun weapon_hl_9mmar weapon_hl_357 weapon_hl_crossbow weapon_hl_handgrenade weapon_hl_rpg weapon_hl_shotgun Some are having issues (ie grenade and rpg). Weapon select is slightly buggy, but you can give yourselves these as sv_cheats is on. I'll leave my PC on till when I get back from vacation tomorrow afternoon.
By the way, the crosshair texture isn't included/downloaded (probably not an issue and you probably know.)

This looks very good, are you using the new HLR:R npcs or some of your own?
I guess i need to get HL:S But Deathmatch source should do too as it contains all the HL:S content
I'm pretty sure he's making his own NPCs.
All custom. I've actually got a semi-working barney and have to test gman ingame right now. I also have to make a custom scripted sequence entity, which will probably not be as hard as I imagine, but we'll see.
Alright, brief update of what I've been working on. - Made gman, he's fully functional afaik - Made a scripted sequence entity, seems to work perfectly - Got barney NPC semi-done. He has issues with turning his head, some speech etc. - Started scientist - unfortunately, the scientist model crashes every time when used on him, so using barney model as a substitute for now

Thanks. I fixed the scientist bug (a bad keyvalue had his head bodygroup become negative). So far, first 3 hlc_ levels are playable - that's up to the test chamber. I still have to code in more AI stuff, ie scientist healing the player, barney shooting at enemies etc.
Nice, I'll be keeping my eye on this. I have actually been playing Sven a lot lately with family, so it will be interesting to see how this turns out. I know you have said previously that most stuff is custom-made, but how much will still require the HL:S GCF?
All textures, sounds, most models. Most [b]SNPCs[/b] will be custom-made, not models. I do need to hex some models as they conflict with HL2 models (gman.mdl, barney.mdl, headcrab.mdl) Maps, however, will all be decompiled and distributed. If you legally own HL1:S, you can just extract the content (materials, models, sound) and paste it in garrysmod/garrysmod. I'm also having an unrelated issue - I need to have the client to download a custom scripts/sentences.txt. Any way (other than having them manually download it) that I can get it to them?

Tested the first three levels of this with Disseminate, and there was serious nostalgia to be had. I played his previous version with Silverlan's NPCs, but this one feels much more like HL1 (models are all exactly the same). This was actually incredibly fun to play.
