If you do make a gamemode we need someone to run a damn server. I sure as hell would play it.
I mean to change code so Fastzombie Torsos don't spawn.

Also Jack IIRC whenever I shoot at one of the Zombies with the weapons I added I get some sort of error about damage scaling or something. Im sorry to say, that im a little disappointed in this gamemode. It would be good if the blurring and sprinting effects/headbob/everything was toggleable. It just lags up my computer.

I'm definitely going to try to develop a game mode now. A serious game mode where a team of players is pitted against a Combine onslaught. With custom Combine models and such. But if I'm going to make a gamemode, I'm going to need AT LEAST one of each type of firearm, and currently I only have a pistol. [b]however[/b] is that lag REALLY that bad?! Really?! I clamped the effect magnitudes to keep it from lagging. I did framerate drop testing. You can find the commented debug clientside functions I was using to test for framerate drop. I played all the way to wave 17 by myself, and a few waves I had to play through entirely with health less than ten (couldn't see shit) and miraculously survived (mostly due to luck). When my stamina is at 0, when the ToyTown and Brightness modifiers are at full strength my framerate drops by about 7 This is a serious issue. Like really. If no one can handle light post-processing, how is anyone going to be able to be aware of their body? [editline]24th July 2012[/editline] It's a gameplay issue that's inherent in all video games. In real life you can FEEL when you're hurt or tired. In a game you can't, so something visual or audible needs to be presented to you.

Maybe just dd a con command to disable that shit or something. What are your specs for comparison?
And I can understand if people don't like the viewbob stuff etc because it's ametuerly made (ametuerly? ametuerishly?) But if you don't like it then link me to a good realism mod that I can pull code from.

I had SharpEye once but removed it because it wouldn't allow me to disable the step sounds, and it conflicted with something else I had. [b]However, it is a good addon (its creator is far better than I am) and with my Lua experience I bet I could incorporate it.[/b] Minus the crosshair. Hopefully I'll be able to reverse the movements because in all my experience walking or running through dangerous ares with a firearm in my hand, your head/eye movement [i]precedes[/i] your hand movement, not the other way around. You usually snap your head to look at something and [i]then[/i] bring your firearm to bear, and it seems awkward to shoot at something while looking a different direction. Edited: Now to figure out HOW to make a gamemode. Something I tried once before and failed at. I'm thinking of taking everything down so that I don't continue to receive complaints while I'm trying to develop a gamemode. Tracking multiple addons is wearing on my nerves.

I kinda want to use my entities / weapons in sandbox. With the freedom of spawning things out of thin air and kill enemies with traps. Tell you the truth i kinda feel restricted when i spawn this entity so. The entity that you have created had amazing features! With some features should have enabling or disabling for most features like 1. Blurred vision 2. Damage blur 3. Stamina system 4. Realistic speed 5. Allowing Entities that can be spawned 6. I feel like disabling that stuff wouldn't really be all that hard, though if you were willing to look through the code a little. @Jack make that like a light version or something. Keep the full featured one, but also have one without the stuff.

I got weapons with a "hacking" of sorts, I placed them on the ground first.
