Hehe, i love using that huge yellow truck thing from that pack for harvesters.
I strongly recommend gm_buttes for playing with tiberium, it's epic for that.
I recommend that server be optimized, its laggy as hell and the files aren't passing to the client properly. It download 71 textures and 1 text file every time i connect.
other than that it can be an awesome server

Well, they dont look like tib crystals anymore... more like, umm, cucumbers, or a bunch of green...Đ!Cks... tho its only my opinion... the end of the chrystals were always sharp and pointy

i need some help i am getting an weird error when trying to link up certain thing such as the large harvester to a resorce node and if i spawn one of the powerplants powered by radiation i get lua spam

for the trip module i get this lua spam

trip modules are like solar panels, I just re wrote the code based off the LS2 solar panels and applied the appropriate models in a STOOL.
Harvesters..ermmm looks like you have something missing or a random character in the code
again I didnt like how these were coded so i rewrote those too
but then again I have a private mining and tiberium addon so I pretty much had to rewrite everything to make them all compatible

I found the spawn issue vs toolgun spawning. set your entities spawn position at like 45 and not 16 so it spawns slightly above the ground and not in the ground.
I have this fixes in most entirety and moved to the life support tab, and also have the tiberium spawner tools admin only.
Added tiberium reactor sounds for startup and shutdown, etc..
so pretty much when i get it all done I can pass you an svn so you can have a look at it
I also have my converted version that is similar but instead of just raw tiberium I separated them by color because i dont use the tiberium entity in this addon but rather pre-spawned nodes around the map

I should take a look again, sounds interesting. Didn't play in the server, nor gmod for quite a while now.
a few months ago when i was playing this it would have insane lag making a field, will i still have the lag in the latest version?
my lua errors woulden't be because i am using Resource Distribution 3
Would the creator of this mod stop blaming the lag on bad downloads and bugs?
This mod is plain [b]UNOPTIMISED.[/b] I cannot begin to describe how badly the coding of this mod has crippled it's performance. How come this mod lags more than Lynix's tiberium mod, when his mod should have created MORE stress as it created particle systems [b]OVER[/b] the dynamic lights, tiberium towers and accelerated spreading?
I'm running on a goddamn HD5870 and a AMD Phenom II X4 with all cores at 3.4GhZ before you tell me it's my computer, but it pisses me off whenever I come back here, see someone ask about the framerate drops, then see the creator say [b]HURP DURP BAD DOWNLOAD![/b] I cannot even run with 8 fields of tiberium without dynamic lights with the tiberium limit set to 40 without getting an FPS that spikes constantly below 20. Please explain to me while the "more stressful" Lynix tiberium mod runs at a much higher framerate (Only a drop of 10 frames with 12 fields) and yours fails to meet basic framerate requirements?

ok back to the stool spawning and you cannot remove entities with the "Z" key....Removed factories and dispensers since you can get items from the Q menu and those were the two things giving me the issues. Simple thing is this should not be showing in the entities menu but in the Life SUpport tab or its own tab and have stool spawn support. I recoded this to work with my mining addon and gamemode, not re releasing it either.
The general public of FP and gmod will just have to wait for SB4 to come out to get anything in the nature of mining or collection of resources, etc that work properly and are optimized accordingly.
Even then it is undetermined if I will release the working eve like mining mod and gamemode. probabaly not but we will see.
In any event the lag is because of higher poly models being "grown" if your have a crappy CPU or video card or internet then you will get lag.
Some people need to stop hosting servers on their parents desktop PCs and get out and get a real server.
If your getting lag in Single player then get a video card worth a crap. Oh wait you can't upgrade laptop video LMAO. Sorry you should know better than to play games like this on a laptop.

I'm sorry Kialtia, I was talking about this idiot. A 5870 is far from crap and I built this desktop PC myself. I have been running all games at the highest settings with a stable and smooth framerate such as STALKER CoP, Crysis (And warhead), Just Cause 2, Front Mission Evolved and many others in their line. To say that the HD5870 is low-end is a stupid and blind thing to say. I am honestly baffled as to how one person can be so idiotic in the current grade of ATI and NVIDIA GPUs.
I would also like to note that the AMD Phenom II X4 (Black Edition) is a quad-core processor that ranges 3.20GHz over all cores which includes the single core that is usable by Source 2007 processes.

Yea i know, i also have a 955 and a 5770, i haven't been able to work on this mod for quite some time due to personal reasons, i still need to look where the performance drops actually comes from.
Also, you can disable the dynamic lights, check the OP for commands.

i would assume that the lag is from each and every one of those crystal bastards constantly trying to find a decent place to multiply!
recode and spawn the crystals server side with predefined coords , resources, and no growing, and remove the stools that let you manually spawn. That what i did to mine and no lag
