Actually you can only order that has [] in their name.
I'm confused that is under groups and nothing happens... I'm not trying to order I'm trying to create.

You can't create it because those spawnlists don't have [ ] in their name, go to garrysmod/settings/spawnlists, and open all of them up with notepad, then change the start of their names to "[CSS] Counter Strike etc etc"
Looks nice but what if I have more than 20 groups ?
is there a way to seperate some of the stuff in the default ungrouped tab because I don't see it under spawnlists
Just change the spawnlist's name to have [] brackets in front of it.
That's the only way I can think of, I wish it were possible to put spawnlists without square bracket names of choice in a custom category. Would be useful to seperate my thousands of model packs from the default GMod ones :downs:
OP should somehow update it, default spawnlists aren't categorizeable :(
the sad part is that the "ungrouped" one doesn't have a spawnlist.txt in the directory with like phx ones and such
Can't you rename spawnlists in-game? Or does that not work well for built-in spawn lists?
idk you tell me man, I can't find the ungrouped ones, I thought about renaming them in game but decided to abolish the idea on the grounds I thought it would be pointless. If you know something we don't please do tell!

no I haven't and how would that work and does it work for you? No point in asking if enless it works for you.
Theoretically you can rename the spawn list names to your own ones with your own group names.
I don't have CS:S nor many Steam games, so it doesn't affect me and so I have never tried it.
I'm talking about UNGROUPED, it doesn't have a text file.
The alias stuff doesn't work with the text files. It just changes the names after everything has been loaded.
you're confusing the hell out of me, I am stating that the regular UNGROUPED crap eg usefull comic props do not have spawnlist text files. Is there a way around this?
Well to be honest, I don't remember. I thought there was a way to rename spawn lists without having to rename the spawn lists themselves, but I guess not. I don't have Garry's Mod installed anymore and this addon is a bit old now, so I don't think I will be updating it. Sorry.

I cannot open up the v1.1 link... I either get a "offline" on my interwebz and somtimes when it does open up it just says "404" ERROR! wai cant you just upload this to Garrysmod.org? :)

Luckily this still works, unluckily the v1.11 github link is broked and author didn't upload it on garrysmod.org, can anyone help me get the new version as I'd like to sort.

Why is it that whenever I find a really cool addon for Garry's Mod.. or any other game TBH, its almost always not supported anymore? -_-
Anyway, if sk89q reads this, I'd like him to know that this is the only addon of it's kind and it's FREAKING EPIC.
Are there sub categories? If not, it would be cool to get that so you can organize your crap even further. :D
