Okay, here's my bug (that I posted in the LS thread). Whenever I link to Life Support items, an error spams my console, saying there is no render for the link. The link is invisible, and immensely laggy.
Hey. I'm new here, but I just want to ask a simple request: Please put the latest Resource Distribution update on [url]www.garrysmod.org[/url]. I don't have SVN (but i do know what it is, what it does, and how it works) and the latest post on the .org site is 117 days old!!! please help. And don't say "get SVN" or anything related to that. I found a bug. RD2 doesn't load correctly on the Client unless the Client manually downloads RD2 and puts it in the addon folder.
I just did a SVN checkout today to make sure it was updated.

Just tested it on a Vanilla server install, same result. Basically it just spams the console with "Please Install RD2".
Resource Distribution was extremely helpful with using Life Support 2, Garry's Mod Combat, Tiberium and Tiberium Harvesting, thanks man! You're incredibly awesome! you rock!
How do you use the supply connector? I've put one on two tanks of the same type, or one on a generator and one on a tank and attached them and nothing happens. :tinfoil:

Here is how you do it:
1.Spawn a Supply Connector with pump turned on.
2.Spawn a Supply Connector with pump turned off.
3.Link the Supply Connectors to the storage devices in question.
4.Use the Supply Connector with the pump to deploy the connector.
5.Use the Gravity Gun(less buggy to use) and move the Connector to the other Supply Connector, it should automatically attach itself.
6.Divide by 0, just kidding.
If that does not work, then either you did a step wrong or RD2 is not working properly. Resources will flow from the pump-enabled connector to the non-pump one.

At the moment just press use on it (or put it in water).
Next update it will be either by a sent or by putting them in water.

Should be added in LS2.5 yea. (Probably only able to be added by mappers or Admins).

I already tried RD2 on space build chapter 1 and it does not work.

p.s I do not like Space build 2 because it has no way to Toggle Friction on and off.

Is there a way to have this work in a gamemode other than Sandbox or Spacebuild?
RD2 will work with any gamemode, it's just an autorun addon. Unless you mean like the stools and what not, those are strictly for things based on the sandbox gamemode, or if your gamemode reuses the stool code.
Yeah, I meant the stools. I can spawn them perfectly fine, but they don't seem to link correctly, because they don't gain resources at all. Works fine in Sandbox, though.
Would there be a way for me to edit it so it'll autorun on other gamemodes (if this is possible, I obviously won't release it), or is it a compatiblity issue?

Yes. Most tools under environmental control won't show up unless you are in spacebuild gamemode.
I've tried in spacebuild and sandbox and doesn't work.

Did you change to the gamemode? Just downloading doesn't do a thing, you have to select it.
Also, you are better off using SVN for that. Keeps the complaints down for one. Also, most of the time it is better than the .zip version.

I would copy your addons folder somewhere safe, and do a full reinstall, as in delete the gmod folder AND delete local content through steam. I don't know how familiar you are with the process so I will stress that it is really important you delete the folder (steamapps/username/garrysmod). Then put ONLY SB2 LS2 and RD2 in your addons folder and see if that works.
If it does then either you had a conflicting addon or just needed a reinstall. If it doesn't then you are in the twilight zone and should leave immediately.

SB2 needs to be put in the gamemodes folder, not addons!

You can easily see if SB2 is active or not. The grav plating tool has been moved to SB2, if it's not in the menu anywhere SB2 isn't active!

See the download you get from the SVN is misleading then as it looks like an addon pack. You got a folder named "Spacebuild 2" and inside that 2 folders named "lua" and "gamemode" so it looks like any other addon pack. If i'm supposed to put it into the "Gamemodes" folder then do i just put it in as it comes
e.g. garrysmod/gamemodes/Spacebuild 2/Lua

Take the space out between Spacebuild and 2. That causes problems.

There is no lua folder in there :s
Only entities and gamemode.
Gamemode contains all gamemode specific files
Entities contains all other source files that should be loaded with the gamemode (stools, weapons, sents,...)
