There is no lua folder in there :s Only entities and gamemode. Gamemode contains all gamemode specific files Entities contains all other source files that should be loaded with the gamemode (stools, weapons, sents,...)
Sorry i didn't mean LUA, i'm in work so i was writing from memory. But still, Do i place it in the gamemodes folder as i suggested?
Sorry i didn't mean LUA, i'm in work so i was writing from memory. But still, Do i place it in the gamemodes folder as i suggested?
Yep, just make sure there are no illegal characters like " "(space) in it. Spacebuild 2 = inccorect Spacebuild2 or Spacebuild_2 = correct
Ok thanks! I'll try when i get home and let you know the results Edit: Well it worked!! But...No Gravity Plating :( Is it not included in the addon anymore?
Ok thanks! I'll try when i get home and let you know the results Edit: Well it worked!! But...No Gravity Plating :( Is it not included in the addon anymore?
Ya..some people have that problem, I don't know what causes it, yet.
SB2 needs to be put in the gamemodes folder, not addons!
SHIT! I knew as soon as I tried to sound smart I'd forget something obvious and look like a dumbass.
Ya..some people have that problem, I don't know what causes it, yet.
I have it under the tools tab. Or did, I haven't needed if since a few updates ago so it might be gone...
Does using the wire tool cause anyone else's fps to drop down to shit because it does for me and it's certainly not my PC (runs gmod normally around 150-200 FPS on all maximum settings with buildings and stuff and maybe if a lot of explosions are going on it will drop it down to 80 or 90 but frikkin wire drops it down to like 30 ).

Make sure you have SVN and no other conflicting addons.
OK i used SVN to get it now. http://tools.assembla.com/svn/Spacebuild2 But it made no difference :( In the gamemode option Spacebuild still shows but no Spacebuild2 and just running it on spacebuild makes no change
Did you bother to DELETE the old Spacebuild!? You have to replace Spacebuild with Spacebuild2 or else the whole thing fucks upside down, stools end up in the wrong places, gamemodes screw up, or the whole thing just stops working.
Yeah I have this, I can only use about 3 link tools before I can't play due to bad framerate.
I've got the same thing, if you mean the link tool. I think Fr0z3n F14m3 meant the wire tool.
Have the SVN username/password been changed?
Have the SVN username/password been changed?
The SVN appears to be down due to someone attacking the server :(
As far as I've gathered from the Wiremod site, the user and pass for getting wiremod was changed to anon. I tried this for here, and it didn't work. So, off to a .zip. :D
That was released last year in september, will it work with the current Gmod version? Cause i recently got Space build SVN so i could play it.
It works with it.
Ok, this might help with the SVN not working: http://www.wiremod.com/37578-post161.html
Since wire moved to a new svn, apparently the RD2 hasn't been re-uploaded yet. Just have to wait until tad2020 gets to it. Oh and, he never really updated the SVN anyways, as said in the first post, it is exactly the same as the zip file. EDIT: Cancel, the SVN version was updated compared to the zip... Just have to wait for the fix to the SVN. I was thinking of a different addon.

Apparently, the link that nagachief gave not only doesn't seem to work, but now I don't even have wire mod anymore thanks to the instructions giving to delete the old stuff.
yayyy more useless shit =D
Now that I'm completely dead in the water with no wire, does anyone have a clue if or when wire SVN will be up again? :yarr: EDIT: Found a link to DL the wire zip posted here - http://www.wiremod.com/4260-feb-17-svn-status-offline.html Hopfuly this will keep us afloat until the svn is fixed. :v:

Thanks a bunch tad, much appreciated.
I just realized, the SVN server messed up again, now it doesn't work again. I have Revision 606, so I'm good.
I just realized, the SVN server messed up again, now it doesn't work again..
Anonsvn access is offline for now.
Does that new version you posted have a fix for the sticky pump?
Does that new version you posted have a fix for the sticky pump?
Sticky pumps? Edit: I'm going to be working on custom resource networks next; ie. ability to make resources that aren't "fluids through a hose". I think the example resource will be power, use Watts instead of charge (if a gens outputs 10KW, you can only use up to 10KW at once).

Besides, that makes dealing with energy usage easier. The only thing is, how will batteries/cells work?
That sounds a lot more realistic for energy. Besides, that makes dealing with energy usage easier. The only thing is, how will batteries/cells work?
Power would be something else, not replacing energy cause old things depend on it still.
Sticky pumps is what I dubbed the fact for me I couldn't turn on or off the pump feature of the Supply Connectors.
