For some reason, Gravity Plating appears near the bottom of the "Tools" tab, even in Spacebuild2 mode. Also I was having some problems with the water pumps. They were working for a while, then my friend duped in some older ones. After that, all of my water pumps refused to pump. They were fully submerged and had energy but would refuse to stay on. (running SVN of all LS2/RD2/etc. addons)
I'm having the same problem as above :(
It's probably something we forgot to update in the stool, once I can I'll try to fix it.
Could you also do something about the resource debugger?
Edit:
Another mod just started causing the luastringtables problem, and it's worse than RD2. However, I only updated a few mods. Figured you guys might want this info to compare what's been going on.
This was taken from http://bugs.garrysmod.com/view.php?id=1309
Ok, another mod has just started causing it. Here is what I updated when it happened:
PHX 3 SVN, after updating to revision 81+
Wire, After updating to revision 629
Space Build Model Pack, revision 625ish (deleted lua/weapons folder, those scripts don't work)
GCombat Extended, revision 145ish.
Anything revisions that are older than May 31st are fine, those caused no problems.
Ooh, didn't see this!
Hopefully this will fix the problems I'm having with environmental controls (ie: 60% of them don't show up).

I have problems like when I downloaded RD2 my life support tab comes up with ONLY RD2 stuff now. I have LS2 and SB2 SVN so it's not an update problem.
Fuck this, I already spent 3 hours trying to get this shit running. I don't even know whose fault this is! whoever caused this FUCK YOU!
Chill the fuck out.
Chill the fuck out.
I just want shit to work, I have windows instead of linux for a reason!
Ok ok, calm down. Jeeze, ok, first off, DELETE SB2, LS2, AND RD2, THEN re-install them, a clean install is better than a repair.
I know what you mean Frank, all the mods that inter-connect sometimes and not others confuses the hell out of me, but you'll get it eventually...
Good luck!

still broken. I think it's RD2 is doing something to the life support panel that's killing all the life support Stools.

You sure you're playing with the SB2 gamemode?
You sure you're playing with the SB2 gamemode?
...yes...
Do you have to be playing a spacebuild gamemode? Spacebuild doesn't work for me.
My RD2 has a tab of it's own but the LS2 stuff is in a life support catergory on it's own. I had to get an older version of RD2 (where it was in the tool menu) for it to work. I had both SVNs. When it did work, every time I spawned something I got an "attempt to compare number with function" LUA error.
I would love to have this but it never seems to work.
Just replace the SVNs with new ones, keep trying, and you'll get it. Or you could fuck around with other tools until Snake and the SB2 team fix it. It's just a matter of time my friend.
ATTENTION:THIS DOES NOT WORK!AND IS A HUNK O' JUNK!!!!I press life support..select a tool...aim at ground or wall...and press left mouse button...and then...NOTHING HAPPENS!...i press other mouse button...and...NOTHING!WHOEVER THIS GUY IS THAT MADE THIS MOD IS TRYING TO WASTE YOUR TIME!

Lol, this mod is having problems at the moment because TAD doesn't have much time at the moment to update it. And things like the Garrysmod updates tend to break parts of it.
So stop flaming. Chances are big that's it just your old fault for using an out of date version of this (you need to use the SVN version, since one of the gmod updates broke the currently released version).
You are the only one complaing as far as I can tell that it's not working completely...
I've contacted TAD and depending on what he replies I might work on a new RD, it would be more simplistic when it comes to certain things then the current RD, but I don't think many of you will complain about that?
This stuff is good, quality fun, and more interesting than old sandbox play ('I MADE A CAR LOL!'). Unfortuneatly, it changes Garry's mod from horribly unstable to Chernoble; here we go again unstable.
I'm in space. Cruising around. Oh dear! A thruster just crashed my game! Brilliant! I'm starting to get really sick of these mods working almost properly, and I'm also getting sick of really long loading times, random game crashes and laggy servers. SB3, RD3 and LS3 better be more stable.

#1 I AM USING THE SVN VERSION
#2 I TRIED IT ON THE NEWEST GMOD AND GMOD 9
#3 I WOULD LIKE A LINK TO SOMETHING LIKE THIS THAT WORKS
#4 I WOULD LIKE TO SEE THE GUY THAT MADE THIS FIX IT NOW!
#5 TURN OFF CAPS LOCK

1) Being like that will get you no where. People won't do it because you want them to. If you would talk like this to me I would just ignore you and everything you say from that point on.
2)He isn't obligated to anyone to fix this. Everyone that makes addons/gamemodes/sweps is doing it in their own spare time. They don't get paid for it or anything. If he doesn't have time (either work related or personal) that's up to him to decide where he wants to work on it or not.
3) If you really want to complain to someone about all the problems, talk to Garry. It's mostly because of his updates that things get broken and need to be updated. While in general these updates are good in the long term they are bad in the short term, especially if someone doesn't always have the time to update his stuff.
4) just stop complaining.
He has a point, although these mods are fun, Garry's mod obviously disagrees. My computer is very capable of running gmod, but I'll still crash for no apparent reason sometimes in SB single player.
I'm just really hoping the next version is:
- More Stable
- Easier to install (take a leaf out of star-gate mod's book?)
- Less broken, those model-packs are all over the shop. I can spawn errors even when I have all 3 alphas.
Sad face.
Good luck guys, I;m sure you'll figure it out.

Well I'm trying to make the new versions as stable and without as most bugs as possible. This is one of the reasons why development of this is taking as long as it does at the moment.
For RD, since TAD is busy (with work or something personal) and hasn't been able to update the current RD2, I've started work on my own RD system. I'm trying to keep the system as simple as possible so that it's more stable, has a lesses change of breaking down during certain updates and so on.
The only thing that some people might not like about the version I'm making is that they will need to use Resource nodes to link everything together instead of being able to link all the Entities to eachother.
A resource node can be linked to unlimited and accepts all resources ( a bit like the junction does in the current version), you will also be able to link different resource nodes together, but instead of them becoming one big combined network then, the 2 seperate networks remain and it will only be if the the network (where an antity requests a certain resource) and it either doesn't have enough or none of it that it will go to request it from the other connected Resource Nodes...
Can anyone tell me where i can find a WORKING version of this?
The SVN.
WIN705, I know where you can find a working version of this, in the year 2075, if you don't fucking SHUT UP AND STOP COMPLAINING!

Resource Nodes sound fine to me, It'll be easier to organise all those wires then, so don't worry about that too much. Good luck, I'm looking forward to it!
My Res Debugger does not work for some reason. It shows up under tools in new category. I'm using the SVN build. Any suggestions?

As of now it doesn't look like I'll be working on this anytime soon. I'm working on something none GMod related; between that and work, I don't have time for GMod. If and when I do I'm going to start from scratch. The same goes for AD.
Well good luck tad, hope you come up with something very nice for you and the public to enjoy. And it seems Win has shut his trap, yelling does work I guess.
