Yeah there isn't a working version for 13 afaik anyway, I'm writing the data to a text file in 12 then copying it over to 13, if you get a server version working on 13 you can just send the data to clients with net.

If I place and people like it then I'll take this into account. I have a few plans to make this more fun and more gmod-ey anyway so that might not apply. Thanks for the input though :)

(Our philosophy behind gamemodes is not to have a perfect end-product, but rather something that shows potential. Anyone can do that, and there's an entire community that can answer questions for beginners. So it might have a few bugs and is missing a few features - that's okay! It's not about being the best, it's about making something fun and having fun making it. :) ) so i guess it doesnt have to be finished but at least playable...... i love rythem games (Gamemode must be your own (or your teams) work.) If I ever go anywhere with this after the GCC I'll fix gm_bass in 13 then have it all done in the gamemode itself. As for the actual judging thing I'll send in a set of tracks & their necessary data with my entry - I'll take song requests nearer the time incase anyone doesn't like my taste in music :v:
Why is everyone making a generic rythm game? I'm thinking of jumping in with something that'd be a first person shooter or something that makes use of rhythm. I'm thinking a deathmatch where the floor pulses each beat and you've got to jump then or you recieve damage. Your guns would be lasers that had no ammo limit or fire time. So you're all jumping around to music lasering each other. [editline]5th September 2012[/editline] Using very simple low BPM music, too.
