Seriously, though. I'm having a lot of trouble with them and might push them aside for a later update and see what else I can do in the meantime, since there are some bugs that need to get fixed.

The fact that your using tons of models that you didn't make to use as 'donator' special models is
rediculous as is. People would still have to download your wonderful donator models, which more than
half the time are useless other than to make you look 'badass', whether they are in a content pack or not. The better solution would be to not use silly sonic and grim reaper models in the first place.

If you've seen the older map rp_ubyutown (or rp_downtown_ubyutown - I can't remember which one had it, it might have been both of them) - that corner where the warehouse is had a nightclub with music and lights and a back room - then above it, there were more apartment rooms with wooden decor and half-level rooms - a good, large space for gang planning.
The best option is, of course, not to use DarkRP. But based on what you're doing, the next is to not have a lot of custom models. Instead, focus on what you currently have available and work from that, creating more server content than uploading these little and silly models/visual packs.

Workshop updated last on June 25th. Could we get an update on this project?
I haven't really worked on it since then other than a few minor fixes because I've been majorly busy with trying to clear up lag and a lot of issues on my own server. I'll try to get back to it tonight, potentially, since I don't have anything else to do tonight other than a TF2 scrim tonight at 8PM EST.
If you do get back onto it, take a look at rp_downtown_ubyutown for some ideas (around the P.D.) - maybe there is scope for a nightclub with lights (not necessarily music, since players can use hldj) - and not necessarily in the same place as the club is in ubyutown.

More like inactive. There's a lot going on in my life such as my grandfather going into cardiac arrest (he survived and seems to be in good condition so far), along with general disinterest in this project. I'll get around to it eventually, but now isn't that time.
This name was chosen because it can still be found in server browsers if the user searches for the map that this is based on; it's also unused and since this is an improved version of v4c_v2, it makes sense.

I've decided to revitalize this project after coming across the vmf again. I'm going to make some differences in focus. To start off, I've decided to make this project purely about optimizing the map, and not changing it in such a way that it's different; at least, in any major way. I might add some props here or there to add to the atmosphere, and get spice up useless areas like the black tunnels at either end of the map (by adding a pile of rocks there, for example). Following that, I've scrapped the tunnel area I replaced the theater with, so the theater is back.
I'm currently working on some minor optimization additions to get the ball rolling again; expect an update soonish. Once I do that I'm also going to update the OP and add a download link to the vmf instead of forcing people to add me to ask for it. Don't know why I did that.

You don't think I could get the .vmf do you? I'd like to mess around with the map on Hammer. It'd probably help me learn some things about mapping that I don't know about yet.
