Welp, I have a server up and running with this addon. Looking forward to see some faces! 69.121.191.83:27015
I do not know how to enter that :P
I do not know how to enter that :P
open your console, type "connect <ip>" without the quotes and with the ip instead of <ip> e.g. connect 69.121.191.83:27015
Or it's possible to add server to favorites and join from there, but yeah same thing.
Can't handle server :P
Well shit guys, I think incendiary shells aren't the best thing to order 5 of for artillery strikes. My bad on crashing the server. Sorry guys
PHANTOM IT WAS YOU D:
Well.. in my defense we had both that and 20 or so HEATs going off..
I was standing, looking at the field of fire thinking to myself Wow, I hop he didn't order too many of those because they'll crash the server and then the server crashed :P
heat rounds weren't even fired yet when you launched incin.
Hey guys I am starting a server on gm_construct_flatgrass_v6. how do I find my IP? edit:Now to figure out why my person won't move.
heat rounds weren't even fired yet when you launched incin.
Oh crap.. well I feel horrible now. I'm sorry about that guys.
Well then, Back to minecraft. edit:or maybe find some other really good things to do while I wait.
disagree all you want jackie but it did happen, and those screenshots are proof in other news the shaped charge is my favorite explosive because it just has so many applications like, if the map has a courtroom, instead of sending the guy to jail just set off a shaped charge pointed at his desk :v:
That reminds me, I wanted to make a bunker of sorts that has chairs and a table in it for the server so we can have a meeting. NO EXPLOSIVES ALLOWED IN THE ROOM!
Bug (perhaps(could just be my application)): When using more than one "Firework" round, the display only appears among one explosion. The other three do not display the red, white and blue "smoke," but do display the "sparkle" effect. I dunno.. figured you might want to know. Thanks for all the hard work you've been putting into this add-on; it shows
Well that was fun in the server today. I made a katyusha and a helicopter that fired missiles and then I made a base until everyone just threw artillery at it and it broke. Oh well, I'll probably host it again tomorrow. And oh yeah I think pigbear ordered 50 INCD's or something

Just wiremod, advdupe, jack's tools and explosives pack. Pretty much it. And weight stool.
Only 3 of those ones worked so :P I wanted to burn the surface as we were going underground :P Also: How did you set up your server? Another thing: INCD rounds are bad on servers :P
Time to detonate the shrapnel bombs! [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/918983253989885896/F1C5079BF1E0153E6FF8D6A3B699C1ADDABEF75A/[/t] I think I used too many shrapnel bombs!
How do you set up your own server? It's probably complicated for somebody new, but I'd probably just google it or go to scrds.com
There are two kinds, Listen servers (probably the easier) or Dedicated, the latter i've never used myself with listen servers you either portforward using a site like portforward.com - find your router, then find half life 2 server for the ports - or you can use hamachi as long as the people you want to join have joined your network difference is, listen servers can only be run when you're playing on them as well, whereas dedicated servers can be run without you having to be in-game i think
So how does one setup a listen server?
two ways, either portforwarding (public server, probably shouldn't do this unless you know what you're doing) or using a third party LAN program (only people who know the IP can join) 1. portforwarding - the method varies in terms of what hub you have. personally I go to portforward.com to get the ports I need, the hub I have is a bthomehub2 so i choose that on the site before i find the 'half life 2 server' ports (27014 - 27050 TCP, 4380 UDP, 27000 - 27030 UDP) then I go to whatismyip.com to find out what my IP is. Then i open any browser and put the IP into the address bar to get to my hub menu; at this point i access the advanced settings by putting in the admin password (you may have to check the back of your hub for it if you haven't used it before) and go to Game and Application application sharing. I then add a new application yadda yadda add the ports, hit save etc., you can follow a guide for how to do this on portforward.com because this probably isn't relevant for your hub. Once the ports have been opened people should be able to join your game by typing in the console the IP followed by the port, in this case - :27015 2. LAN program - Hamachi/Tunngle get people to join your network/join the room you're in, boot up the game, hit start new game then start multiplayer on the map you want, there might be more to it but i'm sure there are guides on the net for it, I don't use this method
Is the server actually up, or after it went down was it down for good?
