Agreed. Socram, that avatar scares me.
I highly reccomend the addition of wire hydraulic to the precision alignment constraints, it would be very beneficial. A weld would be convienent but isnt nessasary

I use Simple Prop Protection and the physgun buildmode still doesn't work. Other players can still pick up other players, regardless of rank.
Any tutorials or guides yet? I'm clueless as to how the precision alignment is used. ;__;

To move them, Create two points by selecting the point thingy in the q menu and just pressing the left mouse button. Once to create point one, And then hold shift to create the second one, or select it manually in the list. It's all very very easy. When i think about it, It makes more sense than easy precision.

I've been trying to make a car by precision aligning a wheel on to the corner of a phx flat 3x3 thing, then axis. I've managed to set the two points (eg point 1 on the side of the wheel, point 2 on the corner), but how do I make point 1 move to point 2 while taking the wheel with it?

Then just right click on the wheel, bring q up and press move entity or whatever it sais. Edit: Ofcourse you can just switch the points in the menu so that you move point 1 to 2 but 2 to 1 is sort of standard.
Thanks. I used the axis constraint and put a thruster on the back to push it along, but unfortunately it deviates from moving in a straight line and goes crazy occasionally (wheels half going in to the floor or the whole thing flipping). Am I doing something wrong?
My physgun build mode was working fine.. but know when i pick it up i can rotate it fine, but when i let go it just sticks to that same postition. EG: PHX tile is Rotated like this / And when a throw it it would still go ___/___ but just bounce along the ground, and when i try to use default and the other ones they all do the same.

Kp3 you dumb ass. He is saying it stays in the same position even tho he threw it. But its not saying at the same grid point he threw it. The position he put it at and then he threw it, it still was at that same position even tho its moving. EDIT: /____ _/___ __/__ ___/_ ____/

Wenli, I've a suggestion for easy alignment. Line and plane construct creation; A line could be created by combining two points A plane could be created by either combining 3 points or 1 line and 1 point. When I first used this tool just now, I assumed it would be the default plane creation method, so it would definitely be intuitive, and a lot faster in many situations.

Could someone post a little guide on how to use PE? It really confuses me seeing as theres no documentation.

That's the only thing i can think of, If i build something with physgun buildmode, and try unfreezing it when i'm done, It fucks up if i don't turn it off and touch the prop again. I've read it. I don't get what the problem is. Sounds exactly like it got ballsocketed to the world. Like keep up right. But since i don't believe he did that, physgun_Buildmode must have fucked up and made the prop stay in the angle he put it in. Now, As I mentioned above, To make the prop act normal again you have to touch or unfreeze the prop. So, I'm implying that he might have forgotten to do that, And just having let the prop untouched while trying to change the settings. Why did you put "bounce along the ground" in bold by the way? You don't have to have snap to position activated. Besides, I'm not fully understanding what "___/___" is supposed to mean but i take it that it's just a representation of the prop, being stuck at an angle. It can bounce along the ground but still keep the same position? What the hell. Or even better, Instead of saying READ LOLOL describe to me what i missread. There's alot of countries in this word, and not all of them have english as their first language. Except for what i just wrote, There can be two other reasons. 1. Physgun_buildmode doesn't work properly (Which would be weird because it works for me and everyone else), Or he's doing something terribly wrong.
JamesFoil. I had the same problem, where it would stay at an angle. It depends, if your playing SP or MULTI. I was on a server and this happened. When it restarted it worked fine.

umm for one reason or another it isn't allowing me to do anything dealing with pa other then setting points and the like, i look at the console and it tells me several of the commands that is supposed to be done don't exist ie: precision_align_constraint command doesn't exist
Also, angling anong a line seems to be broken, its a userdata value it says.
