I agree, that this stuff is awesome, but I really dont like those ugly scars. Is it possible to find other cut textures? I have to add another problems which spoils all the fun - the first, blood splashes stay still after respawn, and the second, crowbar also leaves energy scar. I suggest you to look for some lightning photos on internets, because these energy scars, i'm sorry for this expression, suck. PS Look on Dwatring's avatar on the top of the page.
Functional, but some effects are outrageously ugly, like the claws and acid burn, and most of all, the stunstick bruise. I want to try and redo those. I personally think they're too simple and should be blurrier, larger, and more believable.

I've figured out how I can make it so that some effects (mostly the shrapnel one) won't clog up the center of the screen. Later I'll post screenshots of what I get done and with the OP's permission I'll release it.
I downloaded it, but can you make it so that a console command stops them or at least removes them or makes them stay on the screen for less time? It got a bit annoying.

Please, tell us, is it possible to make random explosion bruise appearance? I tried to swap the texture but instead i received one big red splash in the center of screen.

Your code works fine nromally but has some bugs: The hookid can be the same number even the probability is low, normally. Also it is kinda overkill to use a hook for every single decal. Make the blood more like SMOD, where it's a few big, blurry decals. It's more realistic, I've tried it when I got a bloody nose a few days ago, and it looked like SMOD's blood, but darker. I like the other features though, they're cool. Would it be possible to make water?

How can I change the fade time for things?

The effects are fine considering a shot in the leg in reality isn't going to cover your eyes in blood. IE we don't need uber realistic effects.
