Epic. Just epic.
Any idea of the effect it would have on traffic and resources per person?
Yeah, he said 2.8k per player which is nothing compared to everything else such as physics
Hey everyone, great news! I recently finished my research and thesis on this topic, and this work has allowed me to graduate with distinction! For those interested in the experiment results or the implementation of FlexPoser, the thesis is available online here: https://osiris.library.uu.nl/files/1414072795339/Facial%20motion%20retargeting%20(FINAL).pdf
With that said, I'm planning to work casually on improving FlexPoser and would like to hear from you what kind of features you would ike to see implemented, UI improvements, bug fixes, etc. Let me know!
Wow! congrats on graduating with distinction!
This is amazing!

Hey, I'm bumping this thread because the potential behind this tool is fantastic. Is there anyway to do somewhat advanced facial and mouth capture with this to make machinmas? It doesn't have to be perfect, but I was curious. Also, with the demo you posted last year using Eli and the scene from pulp fiction, do you think there's anyway for this software to track stuff on your desktop (Like video clips) and it to emulate the software as well if a webcam isn't available?

I use a software called Manycam that allows video clips to be outputted through the webcam stream.
This is pretty damn cool, remind me of TrackIR for like MilSim and DCS:World sort of stuff. Pretty cool!!

I'm guessing you need a webcam to make this work, right?
