For now the timer mechanism isn't really bad, but could be faster. Edit: To keep this thing on topic, some people think it's bad practice to use timers in weapon code. I don't think it is if you know how to use them properly and keep in mind the conditions for the timer (weapon valid, owner alive, w/e).

i have managed to find something very interesting with attachments not showing up for people who are using macs. i decided to see if i could position a scope onto one of the guns in extra customizable weapons and all the scopes i tried on a bunch of different guns were invisible so i decided to see if it was on one of my sweps and it wasn't invisible so i could position it and everything so i am thinking that now it has nothing to do with the attachments being invisible its the way the gun was compiled as a modle or its just the bones theme selves so leetnoob i will try creating a swep using ur customizable weapons as base and ill see if attachments are invisible on mine but it will be a basic swep using a modle from gamebanana so nothing fancy

I'm going to take a break from GMod 12 and do some shit in GMod 13. Meanwhile this is mostly for Cyberuben's server so shit (weapons upon hanging) works properly. Still, hope you enjoy this.
