The introduction of some attachments that add some unique functionality might be a route you wanna take Most of this just seems to cater to the eye candy department but not much else
Most of this just seems to cater to the eye candy department but not much else
Yeah, the last 2 new attachments were added mainly because people asked for more variety. For the GMod 13 release I'll add a ballistic 12x scope.

those ammunition types are in they just need to be added to the menu hint hint
those ammunition types are in they just need to be added to the menu hint hint
That would explain why I was not aware of them until a minute or two ago Point is is that most of the attachments are here for prettiness's sake, and that's all well and good, but riding on that alone doesn't get you anywhere

Just by itself, it may not be enough to make this addon the best one ever, but people seem to go more for style points rather than anything else. It's a sad truth, but if you look at all these current games, all you see is amazing graphics and shitty overused gameplay [sp]*cough*CoD and BF reference*cough*[/sp], and they still get people to buy them.

that isn't even maxxed out, that's on lower settings hint: it's actually a 2d surface, not even 3d
cod has good graphics you say? that isn't even maxxed out, that's on lower settings hint: it's actually a 2d surface, not even 3d
Such low res textures should not be used. My PC uses an average of 4096x4096 pixels on every texture (and I have Saint's Row 3 using shadows with a power of two of 16384). These recent ones: BattleField 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 The only noticeable change is BF3's smooth, realistic movement. Else, it's the same old shit with fancy graphics. And I kinda agree with some people when talking about CoD's graphics. Not even that is achieved.
The pistolet makarova is such a joke weapon.

why cod and bf3 graphic topic is coming out? it should be about suggestion and bug report for this addon.
why cod and bf3 graphic topic is coming out? it should be about suggestion and bug report for this addon.
Because some people are alchoholic for High definition shit.

Since croteam are broteam and optimized the shit out of the game, I can now play it on much higher settings. Edit: I just noticed the time stamp when MrBunneh sent me the ballistic 12x scope after numerous changes. what kind of a roleplay is this...
What game is this?
What game is this?
Serious Sam 3. So, yeah. Can you add breathing sway when scoped-in? It just feels too static to have a long range scope without view not moving one bit. Also, just to make things clear, because some people don't get it:
Your a swep maker (paste shit on X model) And your talking about "same old shit with fancy graphic", Please get out.
Just because I make SWEPs, doesn't mean I use them the old fashioned way. My kind of GMOD gameplay has several factors besides getting shot at. I've been developing a new health system that is based on player game style, where it raises/reduces stats to match it in a way that suits the player best, without making the game necessarly harder on the remaining players. AT THE SAME TIME, since the game uses firearms, why not use customizable, good looking ones instead. I'm just saying this because it's not just you making that assumption, and that is mildly annoying.
Customizable weaponary:only tread where instead of talking about the addon we talk about bee tee field 3 and leet on duty 3
stop talking about graphic and shits. gmod graphics wont be bf3 or mw3 whatever its pointsless. btw, good scope spy.
Finally finished the NV scope thanks to [POR]Shoterxx! [thumb]http://imageshack.us/a/img99/1118/gmconstruct0015s.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://imageshack.us/a/img402/7098/gmconstruct0011s.jpg[/thumb] [thumb]http://imageshack.us/a/img594/3834/gmconstruct0014.jpg[/thumb] With Shoterxx's technique it was actually really simple. I could probably try ripping more scope off models, and upload some scopeless guns as well (well as long as they are textured underneath the scope) And no, the scope isnt aligned to the m249, I just physgunned it there cause it was on gmod 13 and the swep creation kit i have doesnt work on gmod 13.
is the lense a separate texture? it has to be, and some more work has to be done on it pre-compile.
It's on the same texture sheet if that's what you mean... All I did was rip it off a pre-existing skin for counter strike, I didn't model it nor texture it. Might try the viewmodel texture then and I'll post more images up if they are better quality.
yeah, definately use the viewmodel model and textures. and if the lense is on the same texture sheet as the scope it will be unusable with the fancy scope mechanics.
It is on the same sheet and the v_model sheet is the same as the w_model sheet thanks to author laziness... But I could try to do a green transparency thing over where the texture is, that way leetnoob can hopefully slap on a brighten/bloom/idk some effect to the sight and voila! Don't know if the scope's glass is too small for the fancy mechanics though... Anyway, if it doesn't work I guess it's alright for a sodding 'normal' scope :L especially since I'd imagine it'd be pretty disorientating looking into a night vision scope as the world around you isn't night vision. Now i'm just making random reasons as to why it wasn't a waste of time to rip the model dammit :L
yeah uh, sadly it isn't going to work in it's current state :V but I could probably fix that at some point, if you can hand over the source files I'll correct it later this week perhaps.

Because you can alter the texture's alpha layer to be transparent on the lens, but it will look ridiculous if it's just empty inside.
