Kinsman DarkShadow6 (your name is ironic because you know why, hoho!), can you please make this, I don't know, a lot more simplistic? All I want is for it to be just like good ol' RagMod, all you do is fall, either when you want or when you really fall and die (or maybe not die but just think you're dead but you're not, whatever). I guess I could somehow do it with commands, right? But you know, you put way too many commands, you should tell me which I should use so it can be simplistic, please. EDIT: You know, I had a crash when I typed "Kill"...And can you tell me how the hell do I recover? Pressing attack 1/2 or jump just makes me jump.
Kinsman
What. Also, >already planning on splitting the addon up into multiple ones Please understand this: cvars and concommands are not the same things. Commands don't take arguments, while cvars do. Cvars are variables, they store values. And if you have a basic grasp of the English language, it's not that hard to find out what does what. That's kind of lazy of you, actually. Did you not put any effort at all into checking out the host of cvars? Most of them are "child" cvars, anyway; just set the "master" cvar (like rm_ragdoll_gib_enabled) to 0, and all the "child" cvars (in this example, rm_ragdoll_gib_value, etc) will become redundant and there will not be any need to change any of those at all. Changing maybe ~8-12 _enabled cvars to 0 will disable most of the features you don't want, all you gotta do is look. If you want, you can "find _enabled" to look for the ones you want (the ones that begin with "rm_" that is) or "find rm_" for a more broader scope. Unless you give a more legitimate response for why you can't simply mess around with some cvars for ten minutes or so, not to be a dick (or maybe to be a dick) but I won't provide any more help than this. I've already made the process as easy as I could at the time of initial creation. I could provide some fancy gui interface for changing all the settings, but that seems pretty redundant, as every single serverside cvar has a descriptive line of text to go with it (which can be accessed with "find" and "help", under the cvar name and value), and client cvars, actually, DO have a gui to mess around with (you are told this when loading up RagMod clientside). [editline]2nd May 2013[/editline] I swear, if you say something along the lines of "that's too much work" I will lose all hope in humanity, remove RM2 from googlecode, and kill myself. Slowly.

Your new addon makes me moist. I can't wait. Good job sir.
When I disable certain modules for Ragmod though, they're just reset to their default values on next restart. So if I don't like a certain feature, I have to modify the code itself.
[editline]3rd May 2013[/editline] http://candies.aniwey.net/index.php?pass=uq7y9
What.
What.
Not too sure.
What.
Juice! I'm black too, I just hate calling my kin as brothers, that's nasty.
Also, >already planning on splitting the addon up into multiple ones
So, there will be Ragmod Main, Ragmod Gibs, Ragmod Parachute and so on? Sounds (Actually looks since I read it, not heard it) good enough for me.
And if you have a basic grasp of the English language, it's not that hard to find out what does what. That's kind of lazy of you, actually. Did you not put any effort at all into checking out the host of cvars?
I questioned you before I answered myself...Sorry :( I'm a dumbass, it actually is simple to use, with what you said, those master cvars are enough already to make a pseudo-old RagMod.
If you want, you can "find _enabled" to look for the ones you want (the ones that begin with "rm_" that is) or "find rm_" for a more broader scope.
Never knew about "find", now I do because of you, thanks. I'll try it out!
Unless you give a more legitimate response for why you can't simply mess around with some cvars for ten minutes or so, not to be a dick (or maybe to be a dick) but I won't provide any more help than this.
Your help is good enough, but I still want to know how can I recover? Because, when I press Space, all I do is just jump and then fall again, but not recover. I don't know if I didn't find much but, is there like an "instant recover" just like from the antique RagMod? I find it strange how pressing Space just makes me jump and then fall again, not recovering from Ragdoll mode itself. I can recover when I'm swimming though.
I swear, if you say something along the lines of "that's too much work" I will lose all hope in humanity, remove RM2 from googlecode, and kill myself. Slowly.
Well, I wasn't aware that I was alive, being alive is way too much goddamn work already. Sorry for saying that, but I think you shouldn't have any hope for humanity because it might as well never "improve" or "worsen", whatever is "good" or "bad" for you. EDIT: Oops, I forgot. So I have a Listen server, I make it have 8 players and when I try to set it up, the game crashes. I have tested out the crash (but have no log yet) and it was RagMod. Should I give you a log so you can see why it crashes or so?
You're holding space right? Not just pressing once. [editline]5th May 2013[/editline] It has some problems with another addon. Customizable weaponry. If you ragdolize or drop your weapon, when you pick it up again then the attachments are gone. xoxo
-snip- I think I might have confused this mod with Ragmorph
It has some problems with another addon. Customizable weaponry. If you ragdolize or drop your weapon, when you pick it up again then the attachments are gone. xoxo
That's because when you unragdolize it's the same as respawning with some small things to make it look like you didn't. I'll look into adding support for v6. Also, the ammo restoration system is largely broken if you drop your weapon when ragdolizing and etc. Fixing. Will you have plans for the next big update?
I don't mean to be a bother, but I have cravings for info on GM+. is it gonna have it's own thread? How is development?

Is it normal that it breaks all ironsights? I'm guessing yes and it uses the same way to move your model around as to ironsight.
Does this work with custom installed Player Models, because in my gamemode they turn black once they have died and its annoying. If it does do we need to add there directory to a lua file?
Is it normal that it breaks all ironsights? I'm guessing yes and it uses the same way to move your model around as to ironsight.
it shouldn't ;_;
Does this work with custom installed Player Models, because in my gamemode they turn black once they have died and its annoying.
it shouldn't ;_;
Well alright, I was kinda just dealing with it since I assumed it was normal. I'll try to see if it's the addon on it's own breaking it.
it tries to run the standard weapon view calc functions before anything else.
It's GM+ and it's there when there's only GM+ and a swep(to test). Can't ironsight when gmp_dynaview_enabled is 1 and in some cases it shifts my view in a way that causes me to run in a diagonal kind of way. [editline]17th May 2013[/editline] Also dropbox link is down, so I can't redownload to see if it's just my download that's borked.

Alright so you can disregard pretty much everything I've said. Seems it's fixed now and allows me to ironsight and what not. However the problem with the view shifting and causing me to run diagonally is still there. [editline]17th May 2013[/editline] I guess that's what you're talking about with muzzle.
you aren't actually running sideways, it just looks like you are
you aren't actually running sideways, it just looks like you are
While a reassuring thought, I do still hope you manage to fix it.
While a reassuring thought, I do still hope you manage to fix it.
the only "fixing" possible would require either disabling the muzzle angle tracking, add an offset to the code itself, or somehow creating an angle forward finder that works with any model (oh god i dont even want to try that (I still have nightmares from dealing with source bone angles)) [editline]17th May 2013[/editline] ftp://ds6.us.to/Garry%27s%20Mod%20Addons/ happy?
Don't mean to barge in on the GM+ thing, but your mod works really well with the drugs mod/ I snorted too much cocaine and ragdollized (sort of like real life). I was also unable to get up until the high wore off, and my arm just tried limping up like a useless piece of meat. I also have a question about GM+, is it supposed to be like Sharpeye, and maybe more? Tanks!
