Okay, instead of lasting a huge amount of time and spewing a moderate amount of blood at a time, the blood shower effect instead is quick, only 20-25 ticks, and spews a lot of blood. No more than before, combined... Probably less. Well, idk, it shouldn't be happening. Probably an addon conflict or something I added a convar for twitch falling: rm_ragdoll_twitch_onspeed_multiplier OH AND YES GIBS ARE TOGGLEABLE

Blood is sooo nasty! One idea - can you add a convar so you can clean map from dead bodies? It's just laggy when i die like 69 times

The reason I didn't like it was because it just felt silly to me, then again that's pretty much what it was for. If I add a force limit to the welds I'll feel better about doing it. I'm soooo sorry about my english, but that my ideas: Add a positions to ragdolls, like in skate 3 or Happy wheels, it will be great! And with button "space" you can grab stuff when you ragdolized, like grab the cliff, or grab barrel or other ragdoll. It will be awesome! Is that possible?

Hey Darkshadow, I just saw this thread right now and i LOVE your attempt at bringing this mod back. I'm no Lua coder or anything so dont get me wrong. But I think I might be able to help you, seeing as the latest version you could get your hands on is V2.3b . I went digging around in my download folder this is what i found: Best and i think latest working version under GMod 12: RagMod_public_test_090528b This was a public test version. It includes many of the things you wanted to add, it might just make your job a lot easier:) It all still works under Gmod 12. I also have many other versions: RagMod_public_test_090513 RagMod_testing_10_aug ragmod_2.3b ragmod_2.2 ragmod_2.1 ragmod_2.0 Theres also some stuff from RagMod 1 in there, but I don't think you'll need it:) Let me know if you want any of those files!

Help, please. when I type rm_ragdolize I can't go back to normal mode. I mean i can't stand up again. :( I have to [I]kill[/I] myself and I see a copy of myself. I'm not sure if it's in the installation but it says there that it has to be put in the [B]Addons[/B] folder, so I put it there. I installed so many mods and addons before. 80% of it works. So, can anyone help me? if the link in the first post is a full download, then I have installed it correctly. [B]HELP![/B] D: If this is what anyone would call "[I]Bugs[/I]" please fix it. PS: sorry for my bad english PPS: Nice mod. It is, as far as I know, largely bug-free. It's probably an addon you have that's breaking it. Please test RagMod with each of your addons in sequence, and come back with the results. I might be able to get past whatever terrible coding I or the other addon author have done and include it in the next update. Please note that ULX has a history of breaking everything it touches that isn't preconfigured to work with it, especially the older versions. Your English is fine, by the way. You have better grammar that most of the people on the Internet.

HOWEVER if you load both this and RagMorph, shit happens (Or did for me :v:)

Hey, quick update. I'm outside Panera Bread right now with my mother's laptop. 1. I am still working on RagMod. Many bugs have been fixed (I haven't written any of them down, lazy). I have also added many new functions that should make it work better. Also, there was a bug with the weapons system where falling down and getting hit before you get your weapons back will keep you from getting them back/gives you them while ragdolled. I figured that was a pretty big bug. 2. If I seem to be online (if you see me on Steam, Xfire, TeamViewer, etc) it's because I set up my computer at home and we're about to get internet again. Just for a short time, maybe a week, a month or two, but whatever. Expect an update in the coming week. [sub]I am thinking about making a parachute...[/sub]

Question about Ragmod, there was an NPC falling addon made a while back that let you push NPCs off ledges or drop them with realistic results, but what was cool was if the NPC was alive the ragdoll would be lifted up at certain points (after a user specified time) to simulate the NPC actually getting up in place of an animation. Could you possibly add something like that for players to get up?
This is awesome, purely awesome. I can't believe I just read about this! You should make it so this stuff happens to NPCs and what not. That'd be hella fun

Hey. If you noticed there was no update. The reason being my internet access was cut not long after I posted that. My family is in the middle of moving between 3 places (don't ask). I am not at my computer, so I don't have the ability to update or otherwise work on RagMod. Sorries. (If you really want to know I'm using a friend's computer.) I will probably be working on it within a week or two when we finish moving. I didn't want to pull a ds and just leave without a trace, so I posted this. Don't worry, I'm still here. Some features in the new release: - NPC ragdolization (mostly done; ragdolls don't take damage when first killed however) - Surfing (planned, somewhat done) - Parachute (planned, somewhat done) - More realistic recovery (planned) - Per-limb damage movement (when a ragdoll takes damage, it has velocity applied to all of the limbs; instead, only the limb you attack will move) - Better reactions on ragdolization (just upped some numbers lol) - Other things I forget Now on to the tl;dr quooootes. It inspired me to do what I did here. (Off topic; to be honest I don't see what's so great about euphoria. It's just ragdolls with force-applied animations. It's not even dynamic; you need to program when each animation will play). I also make sure RagMod is compatible with GMod 12 and 13. Not many problems as of so far. May you also notice that RagMod has the features of that mod (?). My version of RagMod is just an updated version of the old one plus the features from the scrapped beta version. Also, I looked at Tobba's source code. That's a good idea, too, changing force based on whether or not the person is alive. I should try that. OOOH IDEA. Playing freefall sounds randomly when falling would be awesome, along with a higher twitch threshold. Hm... Maybe hitting water could cause damage to you... Ideas, ideas.
