I don't like this method because it's laggy as fuck and spams the server with ragdolls, but short of making like 5 new models for EVERY SINGLE RAGDOLL, there is no way. If I do do this, don't think I won't include the old method by way of CVar. Unless I'm doing it for theatrical purposes, I don't think even I would use it. I can't tell, but when burning npcs they dont seem to do anything after dying last thing - if you could add a variable to alter the number of gibs created when decapping that would be magic
The mod is really COOOOOOOOL. but i have problem with it,,when i ragdoliz for the first time it's work fine but whenever i get up or reset then ragdoliz again or get killed my player disappear like my playing is ghost, and i get beside the screen error saying: :1: attempt to call method 'SetVelocity' (a nil value) can anyone help :(( PS: sorry for my English :)

I'll do that. Killing an npc seems to create a second invible ragdoll, it can't be picked up but you can be launched into the air if you run at it (like a normal ragdoll) and it goes away after pressing z, just leaving your ragmod rag doll.

This ragdoll is linked to the NPC in some way, because even after removing the NPC it's still valid and I can still do things with it. The ragdoll copies the values of the NPC, meaning it's invisible like it's parent. I have absolutely no idea how to keep this from happening. I remember seeing someone access a NPC.RagdollOrSomething variable, but I cannot remember what it was, or if my memory serves at all. I'm going to try turning off ai_keepragdolls and see if the local ragdoll made is also invisible when the NPC is removed. If so, then I have found a hacky method to fix this. Note that this only happens in single player; in multiplayer, the ragdoll is server-side only, a sort of client-server-side ragdoll or something. Other connecting clients cannot collide with it, but can see it. That's why ai_keepragdolls doesn't work anymore :u

I'll be adding the streaking feature, though. It's nice. Only to gibbing though, replacing the entire blood system would break stuff and require a lot of work. I've seen it done before; those projects are usually pretty big. I also happen to like the cloudy standard HL2 blood effects c:

hah the new blood effect is awesome if a bit laggy, had fun making a line painting of blood on the floor by swinging combines from ropes and shooting their limbs off, this mod really brings out the sadist in me i'm glad that there's a multiplier for gibs now, but the command for turning blood off rm_ragdoll_blood_enabled 0 i think, doesn't do anything - the only reason i want to turn blood off is because sometimes ragdolls emit blood from more than one place at any given time, and that causes more lag than ever, sometimes even after the effect is over, so i don't know what's going on there, maybe if you code in an optional limiter that only allows ragdolls to spurt blood from one place only? Also what kind of rig are you running for it to not lag, i'm running an i7 here :v:

What version of Garry's Mod do you have? I'm now not totally sure if you have legit GMod, seeing as how the link to your Steam account is broken, so I can't check. Nothing against you if you don't own it, I pirated Garry's Mod for a few months, back in the old days, before I bought it. If you don't have the most recent GMod, then there's your problem. I use newer functions, like SetAngle and SetVelocity on local players (which are the problems you are having). Otherwise I have no idea what the problem is. Anyway I have made the blood effects more pretty and less laggy. Not as much spam but still looks nice. I am also closer to fixing the NPC ragdoll problem, mostly involving cheap hacky tricks. Does anyone have any methods for removing local and server-side NPC death ragdolls? It could help.
