This is also why I was replying to someone who was asking about SVN's and auto updating.
Think about it though, to update with github you have to go to the website and download it. With an SVN you can right click on the folder and update it.
Viewbob is updated. Now viewbob supports 3rd person and Viewbob scale. Option is in C menu. Requires Recent Version of NutScript.

I myself just use Github and update the framework when I know it won't interfere with what I've done. It's no so much the development of the framework that messes with my work (not that It's a bad thing, I'm 100% for updates) its that the plugins also get rewritten and overwritten (which again, I like updates). At current its not too bad to rewrite a few items in etc but it stops me doing and full on development incase I spend 2 hours making a load of sweps compatible with a certain plugin then it all my work needs to be rewritten for the new plugin. Anyways, any news on some new plugins that may be on their way? Wouldn't mind some expansion on the buffs plugin or a clothing plugin
Think about it though, to update with github you have to go to the website and download it. With an SVN you can right click on the folder and update it.
Incorrect. The GitHub for Windows client allows for updating without going on the website, and the GitHub for Windows client doesn't take much mental capacity to use, and SVN is awful.

You can use the standard command line interface that comes with git, or even get a graphical interface to interact with repositories. If the repository is hosted on github, I would recommend you check out http://windows.github.com/ or http://mac.github.com/. [editline]13th February 2014[/editline] Ninja'd
I have tried the windows client, but I dont know how to find other directorys and install them Here come the dumb ratings.
By default all your cloned repos are in documents/GitHub. If you want to have a repo in a diffrent folder, just download it manually once, put in the folder you want to have it in, then drag and drop the downloaded folder onto the GitHub client. Then it will appear in the repository list and you can sync up with the latest updates. (There is probably a more straight-forward way, but I haven't figured that out yet)

Can I ask which page would be better for suggestion? This one or the GitHub pulls requests and stuff?
Can I ask which page would be better for suggestion? This one or the GitHub pulls requests and stuff?
I'd say both for different reasons. On Github the request will stay there and may get looked at but you probably won't get a reply to it. Here, everyone will see it and reply to it but then it may be lost if Chessnut doesn't check every recent post (Like I do :p, can't miss a bit of debate). Here you will get feedback but likelyhood is he'll see it so just try here bud.
Well there is an request for permakill command, which has been replied to about month ago. I'm not trying to say rebel is lazy or anathing in that meaning, but I see it as a needless command which every rp should have coded in by standard. And if this place is for suggestions/requests, I'll post the things that I would like to see- 1. I'd like the plugins made, for an example cookfood, to work with items that are already in the scheme. I had to play with the folder and the scheme together to make them 'like eachother' and write some stuff into the sh food items, so that hunger depletes when consuming hl2rp scheme ration food, for instance. (I am writing this on my tablet so it socks, will finish this later. Goldman autocorrect shit.) 2. Improve vendors; you can not set their price, there also could be a few more options. (Disable the floating textbox thingy, set greet/farewell lines.) 3. Citizen voice commands, I've tried to put them into the sh_voices.lua somehow but I couldn't figure it out, since I am just a total beginner in .lua coding. Thanks rebel1324 for doing all the cool stuff :)
Now I'm going to improve the framework.
Thanks rebel1324 for doing all the cool stuff :)
I have to agree I guess. Yeah it's nice to have everything organised and items to stay with their plugin but it makes it hard to have them cross compatible. And I think the framework in general could use an update or so.
Rebel did u fix grenades yet I will bug you into enternity on steam

I'm a whore, and I like describing things. /objectphysdesc command pls I loved this command in OA and in CW because I could sneakily put cans everywhere that called you a dumbass- i mean goodguygreg.

Just adding an title on the prop/entity whatever?
What is that? Just adding an title on the prop/entity whatever?
It adds a description to a prop. So when you look at it, text pops up telling you what it's like, instead of just assuming it's prop x prop since the limitations of props and stuff.
There is no way don't use weapon raise? I see the config when i open then i cant find
Fixed god damn UTF-8 Markup Parsing issue.
I have an idea for a plugin to stop the RP noobs flowing in. Just like with clockwork, Nutscript could have a quiz thing at the start to see if the people CAN serious RP and aren't newbz. I won't be surprised if it isn't done because because its off of clockwork though.
that's a horrible idea, added onto the fact that RP is dieing off really quickly and you'll have no players connecting.
that's a horrible idea, added onto the fact that RP is dieing off really quickly and you'll have no players connecting.
May I ask why you don't like it?
There is still Punchwhores and Shitty Players in CW despite of it has quiz shits.
People only play on cockwork servers to troll them, what is quite some fun actually, more fun then the actual roleplay.
May I ask why you don't like it?
The quiz does absolutely nothing to stop people. It's just a nuisance every time you join a different server.
There is no way don't use weapon raise? I see the config when i open then i cant find
Define what you mean. By default Weapon Raise is enabled, and when a weapon is out you type /toggleraise or hold R and you will raise it.
I think once a stable branch of the framework is created with all basic features working fine (A base that can be used effectively for a schema) then a second version of the schema should be built for semi-serious roleplay gamemodes where you don't need whitelists. It's pretty simply done but other things could be done too like I remember on applejack, when you removed say a gun from your inventory it would do the /me for you. I know its lazy but SS roleplay has always been the most popular and still is.

Also I have to organize hooks list.
