GMod Tower Open Beta - Garry's Mod

Still can't get a playable piano for 10k from anyone. Back to the grindingboard.

Just play five rounds of chimera or ball race. Also, I keep crashing when I join gamemodes, about a fourth of the time. This happens when downloading a ain or cache file. The game doesn't bring up a crash dialog, but the download does not finish. During this time, the game is unresponsive.

Also, some antivirus software (nod32 specifically, maybe others) tend to mess with the updater for some reason, causing some files not to actually be written. So if you join the server after updating and are downloading a bunch of models, try updating again with your antivirus off. One person told me that after his antivirus blocked the updater that, even though the files weren't there, it reported everything as up to date. You may need to delete your GMT_* addons and redownload them.

I remember playing Gmod Tower back in 2009. Glad to see it's back.

I finally got in and queued for ball race. It tried to switch servers and then I got hl2.exe has stopped working. I have yet to try again. Damn this low end laptop.

I've been trying to join for about an hour now. Still full. I didn't know you implemented a Mann VS. Machine Release Day simulator into the server. :v:

whoa whoa whoa it says 84 out of 64 players. Used to be 80 out of 80. The fuck is up with that? Ill never get in at this rate...

sv_visiblemaxplayers It's nothing new and it's been around for along time.

I tried but i spent 10 minutes downloading a single vtf.

There is actually a way to connect to the lobby and bypass the player limit without coming back in from a gamemode. I'm not going to reveal it though, as I fear it would spell the end of GMT.

All the data on the server got fucked so there's no achievements and no one has money also people keep putting horses fucking in the theatre

I had gmod since 2007, heard of GMod tower, never bothered playing it Early january this year, I decided to play it, then I get sad seeing its closing down. and now I'm happy again.
