Yeah, I was hoping it would be a lesson in some more complex lua syntax.
The whole idea in context is stupid, why re-invent the wheel and make it square instead of round? There's plenty of Admin mods out there that can do this type stuff, even better than this.

Hes just a person trying to learn how to code, its obvious. This is good for him, you have start somewhere - thats the whole point of his project.
Now why you are criticizing his action is a better question to ponder about.

Honestly, admin mods shouldn't do this kind of stuff.
A seperation between straight admin mods and just stuff which can be abused for the hell of it ( ulx comes to mind with all its 'fun' stuff like ignition ) would be superb.

thing is, once you've built your own fancy modular code structure, the desire to add stupid fun shit to it is pretty strong
it's the perfect utility to put that kind of thing into
I get that you want to learn how to create addons for gmod, but please, this is not the way to do it. People are trying to tell you how to improve and in most cases you reply in a sarcastic/rude manner, which in turn, invokes a rude/sarcastic response and pisses off the Facepunchers of whom you are trying to 'sell' your new addon to. I suggest you snip this thread and stop digging your own Facepunch grave.
