In every sense, admins should only have the same gameplay rights as every other player on the server. It is a difficult thing to balance due to the fact that admins must manage the server as well. It is mainly the fault of the server owner if they can't find an admin base that respects that they are gameplay equals to every other player there.
Also, just to make a quick comment on the Falco's BuildRP example, perhaps some sort of equality could be achieved by using an addon such as UClip. UClip us a ULib addon that basically adds restrictions to a player's noclip abilities. For instance, noclipping through world, other player's props, world props, etc.

That's what I'm saying. It exist many people who are dedicating in making DarkRP servers less mingey, but as the economic system is really unstructured and the gamemode miss an inventory, it's very hard.
If I ever learn lua, I will make an inventory to DarkRP. :smile:
And about admins on RP servers. They shouldn't have more rights. They shouldn't be able to give other people loads of money. They shouldn't be able to unarrest themselves. They shouldn't be able to become cops without a vote. That's what I think as an administrator, super administrator and server owner.

I removed setmoney completely. I'm the server owner and I have about 3k, rofl.

I don't think functions like unarrest are meant for admins to unarrest themselves. Admins shoud be able to administrate and it might be usefull if they can set the money of another player or unarrest someone.

Are any of these tested before released? These updates seemed to have screwed the pooch Gravity gun protection works sometimes along with physgun protection does not seem to work, some people the gravity gun protection works, physgun protection doesn't seem to work is anyone having these same problems?
Edit, It seems something down the line breaks falcos prop protection, It will work fine then all of a sudden all hell breaks lose and people are ripping doors of the hinges, The other things are fixed, also just a suggestion since your using that nice text print on everything else, why not the doors?

Doors are a bit harder as they're not custom entities.
Please give me serverside errors when FPP breaks.

It's hard to test them, sometimes it can take hours before FPP breaks, and besides, the entire point of an SVN is to allow people to test things and report back errors.

But remember, an svn is not a production release, but rather a way to ditribute the gamemode for test.

I'm currently messing with animations in DarkRP.
When hobo's throw poop, you'll see him actually throw (instead of standing still and poop flying at your face)
When you drop weapons or money you can see the player acting as if he is dropping it.
When giving someone money you'll see the player put his hand in his pocket, grab something and give it to the person he's looking at!

I was playing on a spanish server a moment ago, but they banned me for "Spammer".
I didn't have a single entity in the map when I got banned. I think they banned me for being the "Fake Falco".
I mean I can understand being cautious with believing I'm real, but assuming I'm fake even before I can prove it?

Hey guys, and fptje you made me an awesome minge yesterday (I am jok3r). Anyways. I need help with mah rp server, I try to use 2.3.7 on it but it all just freaks out! I would love this version but i got no clue on how to add jobs and shipments. When i try to add shipments, my entities on the server disappears, when i wanna add jobs, all the jobs disappear from the f4 menu but i can still use /cp and shit. When i install 2.3.7 and get on the server, I hit TAB key and when i look at the scoreboard i can see myself as a citizen but im in yellow color instead of green, same with all jobs it's all yellow. Also the F4 menu doesn't work there at all... And i can't type the letter "H" lol. hope i can get help! I would love the latest version but 2.3.7 is fine too! THANKS IN ADVANCE!
and the current 2.4.1 isnt saving changings in F4 menu or in FPP, but i think is because of some update of Garry

yeah im using the .4.1 now but can you explain how to make a custom shipment or custom job? Or just tell me the form how to do it cuz i added it in Addentities.lua just as i should do in the old version but then all the shipment and entities for all jobs disappears
