lmao, i dunno what your deal is with supply crates with zombies in them i'm planning on making flashlights into SWEPs so that you have to choose between flashlights and firearms. flares might in theory be useful but i'd have to make their price lower to justify them as a viable option. and there's also the problem of them being spammed. I can't see any practical use for them.

Bah, got the error again.
Did a huge update today. - Added laser sights to the P90/FAMAS since they have no ironsights. - Tweaked how stamina works - you have more stamina but it regenerates more slowly. - Fixed reloading bug. - Fixed evac chopper visual bugs. - Added dynamic weather system - so far it only has 4 components (rain, thunder, lightning, wind). - Added weather randomizer event. The weather system looks fantastic so far. Screenshots don't do it justice but here's a pic i took of the rain. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/Qdh26.jpg[/img_thumb] Since i'm such a huge fan of random numbers and procedural generation, the entire thing is pretty much random. In some rounds, you might have a lot of thunder but nothing else, in others you might have no weather, and in some rounds you might have massive storms with everything going on at once. Each element of the weather system has its own scale between 0 and 1 (ie. if rain is at 1, then it's a downpour, if it's at 0 then it's not raining). And of course to keep things interesting there is an event which may trigger at a maximum of 1 time per round which stirs up the weather and potentially makes storms. With rain, i have dynamic background rain sounds which become louder/quieter based on the rain scale. There's also a cool screen refraction effect for when it's really pouring. If you go indoors the rain still behaves properly and the sounds actually get muffled properly too. Tomorrow i have to finish up the wind portion of the weather system. I'm considering the idea of adding clouds but i dunno how to do it nicely.
Did a bunch more shit today. Weather system works 100% although i don't know if i like how it is currently. Wind, rain, thunder and lightning are all mutually exclusive and i think i'd rather have thunder be a natural part of lightning. I'd also like to add fog/clouds but i don't know if that's at all possible without looking like ass. I added 2 new items: Unstable Mutagen and Beta Mutagen. Beta Mutagen is basically a portable cure for the infection, but it has a number of nasty side effects so use it with caution. Unstable Mutagen is like the hardcore version of Beta Mutagen, it even has death as one of its possible side effects. Scientists will sometimes drop unstable/beta mutagen if you're lucky.

There's a beta server running this, i can't guarantee it will be bug free but you are welcome to try joining. Check your server browser, i won't post the ip here till i am certain this game is ready for public exposure.

More changes... I can't keep track of it all. - Added the CMP-250 Experimental SMG. Shoots in 2 shot bursts and has a 20 round magazine. - Redid the weapon pricing and balance. - Added pyromaniac achievement. - Fixed zombie corpse bugs. - Added bullet gore sounds. - Removed radar since it was rather useless. - Removed radar module item for the specialist. - The M1014 is now a weapon only the specialist can buy. - Added hud text for the evac/antidote. - Coded fast zombie class. - Fixed bug with breaking doors as a player zombie. - Probably other shit. - Changed how health and stamina works. If your health drops below 30% it stops regenerating. If your stamina drops below 30% it regenerates slower. Infection cripples your stamina regen, disables health regen and slowly drains your health. Bleeding drains your health at a faster rate. Radiation disables health and stamina regen and at higher levels will drain health and stamina pretty quickly. The game is playable at this point, there's a new content pack in the OP.

Well i just played this earlier and it was a lot of fun. But you have to fix some game breaking errors like. I cant buy weapons/items the GUI seems to be broken. And a few others that need to be fixed. Other then that i had quite a bit of fun with it!

Did your buy menu only partially show up? Because that bug is fixed, the server may be using an old revision. Also, paste any errors in your console to this thread so i can fix em.

I attempted to press F1 after joining and it immediately crashed my game. Don't know what exactly happened or if it was a one-time thing, but could you test it out and see if it gives you any problems too?
