I committed to the svn. It fixes the length of panels bug. Also I fixed a bug with the plugin loader, that seemed to be causing issues. I haven't tested anything else (like printers). The svn link is here: http://pcmod.googlecode.com/svn/pcmod2/ Also note I don't officially support this mod anymore, but since this bug renders the mod unusable and the fix was fairly simple I thought I'd fix it anyway.
Alright, will try it today! [editline]17th July 2011[/editline]
I committed to the svn. It fixes the length of panels bug. Now i wanted to say, this mod has potential, I am not talking 100s of downloads I am talking 1000s of downloads, why don't you take up this mod again, make it better add programs, a full explorer, games etc. Viral_Outbreak

When PCMod 2 came out a good amount of people downloaded it. Now all that's left is a few DarkRP servers where its only used to play music. PCMod really would only be a successful useful mod if GMod had Super Serious RP servers that worked in a similar way to the ones on the Multi Theft Auto mod for GTA: San Andreas which would then give way to amazing features like "Internet" and "IM" programs

However, you must remember that PCMod went dead because it stopped working... PcMod 2 has only recently been updated. I have notified all servers that I have been on of PCMod's progress, I plan to Upload videos to YouTube about this subject. Viral_OutBreak

Damn this PC Mod thread has been here for so fucking long. And it's not even interesting shit !
If hes running a pirated GMod then tell him to buy the fucking game. Otherwise he needs to completely erase his GMod installation and re-install it
[addons\pcmod2\lua\pcmod\plugins\darkrp_241.lua:74] '<name>' expected near '.' Only error I get in console is that. Any one can help by any chance?

I created my PCmod Chat Server! YAY! It's called RCS-Chat and have 3 total servers to chat...
Is it possible to code a "virus" program?
What would I want to do to add my own models for laptops. I have an idea to make a "smart phone" just by adding the model for it.

:l PCMod 3 must be made
I find something called PCMod 3 http://code.google.com/p/pcmod3/source/checkout
Exploit causes servers to crash. Heres the fix. Replace line 221 in 'pcmod\osystems\base.lua' with [lua]if (!self:NetPortOpen( pt ) && dat[1] != "netPortClosed") then[/lua]
Help! I cant get it to work with DarkRP 2.4.2 Please help
Damn it, when is the next release comming!?! It's so awesome! edit: fuck, another meme - why are all the cool stuff memes?!
I know many people have said to let the thread die, however, I have a problem. Doesn't work with latest DarkRP, and I've even tried to change the LUA to convince it to run. It just thinks DarkRP isn't there. I also renamed the folder to 'DarkRP 2.4.2' and all (not all) combinations - still no.
One thing to say... PCMod 3? Is it in development yet or are you done with PCMod?
Hope everyone had a great independence day. Whenever I try to print to someone elses printer, it crashes the server. Any fixes, guys? :)

why do you guys bump a thread when the owner isnt even actively working on it anymore?
Does it work in Gmod 13?
Does it work in Gmod 13?
No.
