The search feature does still work, And here is the link http://forums.facepunchstudios.com/showthread.php?t=394761
I was referring to the Non-Google search feature that was actually useful that is no longer working (at least not for me, it just gives the Google one). Thanks for the link.
The Google search feature works just the same as the normal one if not better. It still searches FP forums. No problem :D
Hi, I've been using this prop secure mod for a while now on my two Australian servers and I have come across a bug: Physgun protection *does not work*. But everything else does. Any it doesn't just seem limited to SPP either. Now, I'm going to have to say that I'm probably just a one-off case of the mod failing but I cannot seem to find what is or might be causing a conflict. What I do know is this: Removing ULX to not fix it. Reinstalling does not fix it. Removing the information in the SPP data folder does not fix it. To be honest, I've only noticed this bug as of recently, which may suggest an issue with a GMOD update. Anyone got any pointers?

Also try the reload admin settings button.
Copy and paste me your garrysmod/data/SPP/config.txt file. Also try the reload admin settings button.
Changing the settings around does not seem to change anything, nor does reloading the admin settings. And I've removed the config.txt file and allowed for it to be rebuilt so many times I don't think knowing what settings I have enabled would change anything. The 'Admin can do anything' toggle works fine. I've been testing wether or not the prop protection is working by picking up world-spawned Stargates on my server and then trying to remove them (forcing them to respawn at the original location). The 'admin can do anything' has to be enabled for it to remove, meaning that the damage and/or the basic prop protection is working, just not the physgun. And, like I said, propSecure, propprotection and this all have a similar problem with the physgun protection. I know it is not an admin problem as I've had clients picking up other peoples props as well. Sorry I couldn't give you the settings file, but I'm at Uni and don't have access to my computer directly. Maybe other could test to see if their physgun protection is working with this mod?
And, like I said, propSecure, propprotection and this all have a similar problem with the physgun protection. ... Maybe other could test to see if their physgun protection is working with this mod?
If you have a problem with all prop protection then it's a problem with another addon. Physgun protection works for me, as almost anything in this addon. Spacetech i just have a small issue. Sometimes players explode things (props they made to be breakable, and maybe normal breakable props) then it says "You now own this prop". I can't find how to reproduce this bug but i'll try again. Also, what about the Auto remover (and/or admin button) for things that are owned by N/A ? This is a feature that i wait so much :D. Having a auto remover that remove non owned props each 5 minutes ;)
If you have a problem with all prop protection then it's a problem with another addon. Physgun protection works for me, as almost anything in this addon.
Thanks for confirming the fact that it is just me :). It means I am now forced to do the extremely annoying task of installing my addons one by one, restarting the server each time untill i find a conflict, at which point I'll bark back what it is.
TIP: Remove them 5 by 5 (o even 10 if you have a lot..), it's much faster :). When you've found the group of 5 that cause the problem, re-add them one by one in your addons folder until you find the addon who cause the problem. Then you can report it here, this could help others maybe. I've heard that gcombat cause this problem :).

I have noticed in the past that this addon breaks every prop protection out there.
I have been out of the loop for awhile, do we still have the issue with removeing props/buddying of people with a space in there name. It seems I still can not remove there props. I have the new version.

The pieces from the prop when it explodes are N/A. So you claim them because the explosion damages them. By the way, Physgun Reload Protection... What is it supposed to do? I don't notice any effect by enabling it.
Why doesn't this work for me :(
I have a quick question, can anyone confirm that this works or does not work with Uclip? I'd like to start using this because someone just unfroze an entire base I had made with hundreds of props. I'm sick of it. But, I don't want people to be able to noclip through my props. I know I can anti-noclip it, but that takes forever. If this isn't compatible with Uclip I will have to keep using PropSecure and deal with the unfreeze bug :(

I installed this prop protection for UClip.

Thanks guys, I'm switching my server to this now :) Edit: Oh just one thing. Is there any way to toggle world entity protection on or off? I'd like do disable world entity protection so users on my server can do things like wire the world stargates that spawn with the map. -Thanks!
Will come in handy!
I just noticed a major bug, and remembered why I switched back to using PropSecure. It seems that when someone spawns a Stargate, it treats it as a world prop and does not let them move it, or wire it - even though it says the player that spawned it is the owner. This is an excellent prop system otherwise, it would be awesome if you could fix it. As my server is based around Stargates, i'm going to have to quit using this for the time being.

The only time a stargate says (or acts as) "world" for me is if it's off of a gatespawner, in which case it cannot be moved but can be wired.
Well, I don't understand then. The second time I put it on the server I had people complaining about not being able to move their own gates again. I tested it earlier by unchecking "admins can do everything" and I could move gates. It wasn't until I unchecked "admins can touch world props" that it didn't let me move my own gate like the other players on my server. Try unchecking "admins can do everything" and "admins can touch world props" and you will most likley have the same symptoms.
Well then I guess I won't be able to use this excellent prop system. Such a shame, apparently no one cares about that rather large bug.

is this rp friendly?
is this rp friendly?
It might be.
Hehe, Shouldn't you know? Well, I really loved to use this..Though it stopped working for some reason, now it seems full of bugs and problems :P
This system is fucked up now, unlucky. Try EPS, atleast it works. You can get it from http://connacook.com/forums/ somewhere. I've been using it since it's release and it's never let me down :)
