You added yourself to settings/users.txt? It has an admin menu in the utilities tab. If it's not their somethings wrong.

I have no idea why; maybe it isn't compatible with one of the other Addons.

I usually get that error when someone spawns a huge adv dupe, causing player to crash on connect.

What map are you trying to join when this happens? When I join a game with rp_omgcity_final as the map, it makes me disconnect with the overflow net message, but when I join a game with Rp_cscdesert_v2-1, I don't get the overflow net message.

Addon status: i have a lot of Addons; but i don't think that's causing the errors ;)

It must be incompatible with that map, so ill wait till the next version comes out. Hopefully it will be fixed. Thank you for your help guys.

If theirs no admin menu you must have installed it wrong or maybe your only ulx admin or something.
Do you get: Simple Prop Protection by Spacetech has loaded. in your console?

This was happening on my Global RP server. This is because of a high number of usermessages getting sent and overflowing the net message buffer. In my instance it was because of the fact the the ULX motd was being sent to the client along with everything else being sent all at the same time on connect.

The easy way for me to fix it was to not have the motd appear on InitialSpawn. That way the amount of user messages being sent is much lower and within tolerances when you 1st spawn.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong about why it was happening(but the fix does work)

Delete the entire "Simple Prop Protection" folder and install the latest version.

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Garry's Mod and make sure simple prop protection is your only add on.

Copy and paste me your settings/users.txt file and then copy and paste me your steamid.

Spacetech, not sure if it's just the version I'm using but I can't toggle use protect. Even with it off, people still can't enter/exit vehicles or use buttons, etc. that they don't own.

Other than that, excellent prop protect.

Make sure you have the latest version. The latest version fixed user protection.
