That actually looks really interesting :3 Nice job!
Alright, got some good news! I've gotten my tower working fairly well for the time being, so the Rally Fighter will now be continued. unfortunately I have nothing new for that to show at the moment, but I did do some screwing around with the Driver SF Blazer and a 4-door Blazer that I originally found on the Sketchup Warehouse, so I've been hacking those together rather smoothly:
[t]http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-I0TeaA-pH3Q/U2mTsTVunNI/AAAAAAAABTA/xVfGVHyzKgI/s1600/2000+Chevrolet+Blazer+2.0+4-door.png[/t]
I've also rebuilt some of the geometry that got screwed up on import, as well as the missing geometry that is usually standard on the Driver SF vehicles. If anyone's willing to texture this thing, please let me know: I'd love to have my real-life vehicle in Gmod, and I'm sure a few others would love to have a 4-door one as well as Danish's 2-door.

TDM made a Blazer.

Yeah, I know. If you even bothered to read my post in full, you'd notice I'd even acknowledged it in the post. He did the Driver SF 2-Door one, while that is a hack of a four door one.

Cool. any idea which model year?
*EDIT
Wait, I already know. Same Generation as the Tahoe. Speaking of which, I could probably hack that Suburban into a good Tahoe with enough time, actually.

I would ask for that, but I have plans for the Suburban as a specialty police unit. But hey, go for it!

I don't see why we can't have both here. Besides, I could do a few mods to make Nick Fury's Tahoe from the newest Captain America film! It'll have to be a bit though. The queue's a bit long already (Rally Fighter, GMC Kalahari, 4-door Blazer, Aspen, Imperial, Topkick, etc.)

Thats where I come in ^3^ I can probably use some of the Driver SF textures and some other stuff from the Suburban model

I think its the same as the Tahoe like you said, I'll take a picture of it once I have it working nicely

Movie cars are an awesome idea .3.

Thanks man. It'll be a bit before the Blazer's ready for showtime, but when you do get it note that you'll probably have to re-UV some of the Driver SF parts so that they match, as well as the additions and cleanup I did to the original parts(like how the FLOOR ISN'T MISSING, DANISH!). Also if you do use Driver SF textures on the interior, please recolor them from tan to grey(the color of my truck's interior). It'll have several wheel sets for bodygroups as well, and an aftermarket JVC Radio head-unit for a bodygroup. I might also make a 1995-spec set of bodygroups for it(mirrors, door panels, dashboard, grille+headlights, Bumpers, steering wheel, center console) but those might take a bit since I have to fabricate new parts for all of those. I'll also make several pickups out of the parts I have, since I have a nice collection of them.
Movie cars are an awesome idea .3.
Agreed there. There's something endearing about movie cars and the like, even if they're not the famous ones like the BTTF Delorean, the General Lee Charger, or the A-Team Van. I find that things like even the Fight Club Lincoln Town Car, the Dude's Ford Torino from The Big Lebowski, or Walter White's Pontiac Aztek from Breaking Bad to be kinda cool. Speaking of which, the Topkick that I mentioned is the same one featured in the Bayformers movies, and I'll be implanting the Driver SF dash into it. If you want to take a crack at Ironhide, let me know and I'll send it over when the implantation is done.

Wow, right before I got back to you! Looks quite good, but also very intimidating(Cops use those and Tahoes around here so seeing a police-spec one sends shivers down my spine). Still, great work so far.

Sounds good :D I can do some re-uving pretty easy and add all the other stuff you have .3.

Much appreciated, man. It'll be quite a bit, but that means we'll have a pretty comprehensive little group of cars to work with!

Pretty damn ridiculous, but I kinda like it, so when I came across a good one on the sketchup warehouse I couldn't resist. It's the same thing as the Driver SF Delivery Truck and Ambulance, so I'm gonna borrow one of their interiors and graft it into the model.

Have you thought of doing the Chevy Silverado? The 2007-2013 one
The addon is classified due to Alpha stages but I will say that a Chevrolet Silverado is in development.
[editline]7th May 2014[/editline]
Seriously though, the Tahoe customization options looks absolutely stunning..
Da, it is definitely possible, since I saw a few when I was nabbing up the models of the Topkick, a Sierra, the Colorado and Canyon twins, and a few others for my mad-science frankencar experiments.

There is also a Sierra in development. I won't say what year, but it's coming to GMod.

As long as it's a different model year than mine, we're good. I'm making heavy modifications to the one that TDM made.
The Silverados an SGM car so you know it'll just be for PGRP aha

Kay, good. I'm building a 1993 custom K1500 out of the thing, with a camper shell. It'll have freshly fabricated wheels, interior, camper shell, mirrors, and trim in order to replicate my father's rebuilt one.

I added more rims to this thing. Got at least two more sets that I'll have to custom-build for it. I also used a bunch of parts that I pulled from the Sierra. Surprisingly, the Driver SF devs didn't re-use certain parts that they definitely could have to save on modeling time, like the turn-signal stalk, shifter lever, and ignition switch, all of which are the same on the real-life Sierra and Blazer.
Chevrolet Suburban is out on SVN and workshop!
