Thanks for all the work! Can you add a way that at least admins can free spectate? Right now you don't know who you are spectating (no name) and we need to free spectate to be able to tell who is doing the porn sprays!
Well Polonius, I coded an addon that can do this too.. But as the round timer plugin I can't just release it..

No one cares! We don't want them! We are interested in the great gamemode Mechanical Mind has created and NOT in your little coding work. This forum isnt about you.
Awesome mod, but I have a few questions. Would it be possible to have people who have been in the spectators list for like 20+ min to be kicked automatically to free up room on the server? And would it be possible to add background music when you spawn as the murderer? I'd like to have a quiet ere background music playing to help with the ambiance of being the murderer. Thanks. EDIT I was able to change the murderer knife to a different one which gives the murderer invisibility. Only problem is, sometimes when you have had the knife, then you spawn as bystander, you keep the invisibility. Any idea how I can fix this?

Hi I am seeing circumstances in which players have the same name (on purpose, I know) but they also have the exact same color. Is it supposed to be like this or just a glitch?

That would ruin the core gamemode. And it would also be a lot of work.

Just joined a server for this. I was really dissappointed; the server used pointshop and sold weapons AND the super small powerup, so whenever the murderer was a small person with a shotgun it was really problematic

I am currently working on ulx commands for murder, contact me if you have any suggestions,
ulx ismurder (silenced) - check if murder ulx isbystander (silenced) - self expl. ulx info (silenced) - get player info -> role, bystander kills, alive ulx isalive (silenced) - self expl. But in the admin info panel are all those things nicely displayed.

The idea for background music when you're the murderer is pretty cool, and maybe a sort of thing like ZS when the "last human" music plays if there's 2 people left. Always thought an out of the way small game timer was needed though, maybe 10 minutes for if the game is being drawn out by someone being stupid/afk, and control over the amount of 'loot' being spawned, as some games I see a LOT of people picking up revolvers. (Maybe adjust loot spawns on the amount of people currently in the game?) Just a few suggestions, I'll probably end up adding them in the coming days to the server I'm working on.
Would this work to make players unable to pick up the magnum after rdming? The current way it only stop them from picking up their magnum. If someone else drops one then they can pick it up. Very interesting gamemode. Hosting one for my clan, and it appears to work rather well. Obviously editing a few things, but overall a great gamemode. Grtz!
I added this gamemode a week ago to my various gamemodes server and it has been a huge success. The game plays very nicely and movements are fluid without any snagging on props or steps. The gamemode plays a lot like TTT but with faster gameplay and less depth. I do very much enjoy the gamemode as it was intended because you don't really need moderators like you do in TTT. If someone randomly shoots another player, the round times are shorter and the person who shot loses his gun. This is very effective and makes playing by the rules rewarding. A few notes on the side, however: The game is only really meant for between 6-12 people (as far as I can figure) because the inability to scale murderers will drastically reduce gameplay enjoyment with a large server. I have found that people join very quickly when the server is emptier, but only stay a few rounds before moving on. Because this game is so simple, it lacks some depth that TTT has, and thus will probably never achieve the same cult following that TTT has. It is a very enjoyable gamemode, but it is a simple gamemode, and once you have learned where all the props spawn, you will find that it grows old fast. This is not a bad thing, but hosting a 30 slot 24/7 murder server probably won't be very enjoyable. I think this mode is best played in a mix with other gamemodes (say deathrun or prophunt) because it has so few downloads and is easy to pick up. I personally think that mechanical mind did an excellent job on such a polished gamemode and should be commended. Anything that people complain about should be ignored because this gamemode does what it was meant to do very very well. It is a quick, simple and very fun game and makes for some very enjoyable experiences
