Devinity 2 - New Eden - Garry's Mod

Maw this gamemode is amazing but weapons are still underpowered as fuck Also the asteroids are all the same if they are in the same asteroid field. I kind of liked having to look for the best asteroid. This also allows room for more minerals, there are only so many T15 sectors. Also random chances for super-rare minerals that can be used to craft extremely good weapons would be nice. Also maybe black holes could take you to different sectors and maybe even a hidden black hole that doesn't show up on the map could take you to a hidden T16 sector? That'd be cool. And railguns and automated turrets. Everything needs railguns and automated turrets. Would be nice on mining ships too.

That, and you would be unreachable in terms of other players chasing you or tracking you.

It might be a technical limitation, he may have a reason to not allow players to do it, or maybe he just can't be assed to do it. It's his game, and he's providing an unmatched Garry's Mod gamemode to you guys free of any charge. Why don't you just let him build it the way he likes and see where it goes instead of giving him boxes and mocking him?

If anyone bothered to read previous pages, the way the map works is that I simulate objects around the player, meaning the player never moves around the map, AKA, you will never hit the skybox and the models aren't infinitely small. The reason why I don't want people to interrupt warping is because I never planned the gamemode to have any interrupt feature for the gamemode. Experienced a few annoying facts from Sunrise about the so called "Free warping" and this annoyed the HECK out of me and everyone else in the server. It caused more problems than it solved. It's not something about it's a problem that needs fixing, but a development and gameplay choice that he made. As I said, there's really no point to cancelling warp (if it were possible with the way Maw has the positioning run) from a technical and gameplay standpoint, anyway. What I fail to understand is why you're so torn up about it. It's not a matter of Maw acting superior to you, but you feeling inferior to him for whatever reason. I optimized the system that saves peoples accounts. Downed it from 113kb per update to 10kb per update. That'll lessen the stress from the server :)
