In addition,
-You ship won't blow up when you die in the station.
-First person/Third person camera setup in the station. (Similair to the Old Age camera if you have played that)

It doesn't seem like a bad idea. I can't see any real cons, except for people camping the Devinity 2 Station to get into the other GM servers. I doubt that will be an issue however. What other GMs do you have in mind?

It sounds like a good idea, there's nothing wrong with it. Maybe besides the camping issue mentioned by Datsun. Maybe for your other gamemodes you should retexture it to get their style and not space style.

That is because the trader have around a few hundred satelite drones in stock, so the trader lower the prices for them. It's part of the trade system.
This is by for one of the most amazing gamemodes on Gmod. I used to play the first Sunrise. I just can't find the time to keep playing on this one.
Played sunrise and the first Devinity only on portalcakes server though, both times they we're messy and everytime i went to a mine i just got killed. Really annoying, till he put the turrets next to the beginner mining place then it was ok but it does feel abit of a mining whore game only thing you can really do to get any money. Hope in the beta there will atleast have a few missions to do, otherwise it just gonna be another mine feast.

Sadly to say, I don't want to run the hype, but this is going to be just like Sunrise, sadly space gamemodes of this type do not survive in Gmod. Most of you will disagree with me for sure, but there is not much you can make diffrent, yea you can add a few new things, but it will be the same, Killing NPC's, Mining, Missions (If you add them) will get repetitive.. =/

100% true. This is why exploration and more maps (stargates to other servers perhaps) are required to complete a gamemode like this. Playing on no more than one map is after a few hours extremely repetetive.

More Systems, maybe player controlled systems? Maybe some warfare like EVE, Fighting over stations ETC, How about an RP Element? And the only way that this gamemode will survive, you need an active community backing it. If not it will go with the wind, like Sunrise, Sunrise: OE, Sunrise 2....
