Okay, having another problem. Some presets are in slowmo like one guy mentioned.
Like the Valve Thirdperson... The one I wanted to use the most.
I run forward but it tries to catch up with me veeeeeeeerrry slowly.
[editline]12th January 2011[/editline]
Never mind, I fixed it myself.... The stiffness settings keep resetting themselves.
[editline]12th January 2011[/editline]
For some reason this isn't compatible with SharpeYe.
It completely disables it, and not even console commands are recognized anymore.

yeah so when you go thirdperson in ctp it disables all calcview hooks to avoid things like "it's not working what do I do!" and then it enables them back in when you switch to first person
you can't use sharpeye along with ctp
Well that kinda sucks...
Oh well, I kinda use SharpeYe alot more then I use third person stuffs.
Still, good work as always. I can see this being incredibly useful for machinima makers.

it sucks yes, but there's nothing I can do about it. it's just the way calcview works in gmod atm
sharpeye did the same for my previous version of ctp I think
I'm kinda getting a small bug, When use my binded key to toggle ctp My camera zooms out but my player's world model is replaced with the veiw model of the weapon i was using.
Is there any way to fix this?

probably a ShouldDrawLocalPlayer hook returning false when it's not supposed to, so maybe I should disable all of those hooks as well to prevent conflicts
type:
lua_run_cl PrintTable(hook.GetTable().ShouldDrawLocalPlayer)
in your console and paste what it returns

ctp_ShouldDrawLocalPlayer = function: 405FC708
ThirdPerson = function: 03B578E0
PAC.ShouldDrawLocalPlayer = function: 034A9450
From that kast line, could PAC be conlicting with it?
it's most likely ThirdPerson, or you have an ancient version of PAC
PAC does not conflict with it since I'm using it with CTP on my server
tell me what this returns:
lua_run_cl print(debug.getinfo(hook.GetTable().ShouldDrawLocalPlayer.ThirdPerson).short_src)
I can't get the camera to stick to an over-the-shoulder view. Nothin' but isometric/cinematic fuckups.
Could someone help me with that error messages?:

Looks like old Garry's Mod.
RunStringEx was added just recently.
Really an amazing addon, imagine the possibilities that could come from this and Ragmorph
Impressive but if its not global, it's just going to be neat for singleplayer. i'd like to see a enforcing mode being added to enforce all users run the same script and settings.

if you add it on server, everyone who joins the server will get the addon running on their client
it also sends camera presets if there are any

Neat.
This is an awesome addon, it allows for so many possibilities!
I do have a question though, is there a way with the Isometric mode to have free movement (in 8 directions as when you uncheck relative movement) along with free aiming? This way the movement and aiming would be independent from each other. I want to make a platformer/shooter from this angle and find it hard to move and shoot as is. Another idea would be to add a side view load out, but that's a whole other thing.
Sanks you wery much!
Eh, can't get mine to work. Is this for client-side or server-side? e.g. can I get it to run in the servers' addons folder or does it need to be ONLY in the computer's garry's mod folder?

It's outdated.
The cinematic views remind me of a third person mode from Starforge. Do you plan on having any over-the-shoulder presets?

Why not make one yourself? You have all the tools for that.

This thread's link is, yeah, but here's the updated link for this addon on the Workshop: [URL]http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=108168164[/URL]
I recommmend we close this thread and put the update addon link somewhere in it.
(I really wonder how people get to find very old threads and get the assumption that 3 years old content will still work over the time)
