Jesus is smart enough to keep his drivers in tact by not dropping 20 nukes.
Rather hard to have nukes when you're dead isn't it?

He ain't dead. But he hasn't blown out his drivers, and we know that since we're stiil here, aren't we?
World War II was Jesus playing Call of Duty.

Well seeing as he was born in the BC era, I would assume that the man would most likely be dead. You see humans cannot survive for more than 200 years, hate to burst your bubble.

1) He ain't human, so he can survive for 200 years.
2) Continuing this discussion would be derailing.
ive redownloaded this addon like 5 times and most all of them just show up as the ERROR thing
help?

So what is he? An alien or something? Don't tell me aliens landed here and that's why I've been sitting around a dead tree and eating out of my socks all these past Decembers.

Damn it. My WireMod still refuses to work. I've tried re-installing and such.
Anyone mind uploading theirs?
Gbombs are really something... I have it on my server and loving it.
However, it's really a shame the larger explosives like the nukes are not scalable. For example, the hydrogen bomb's damage radius is nearly the entire size of freespace, makes in unusable in most maps. Even spacebuild maps. That is,unless I want to destroy everything in the map. They are just way too big.
Also I'm kind of wishing custom models weren't used. I mean, now that Spacbuild 3 has custom models, Life Support 3 has custom models, Gmbombs, etc... I don't have the bandwidth to send all of that to everyone so now people have to download 10 things to enjoy stuff on my server rather than like 6.
BTW, what are the commands to scale the smaller explosions? Thanks.
Actually a hydrogen bombs damage radius is um...
Well you could see it from space pretty damn clearly if it blew up in just China or some shit...
VERY big bomb. They're smaller-scaled because wouldn't it lag to fi-shat if it was full-scale...? Plus I don't think the bombs can even go full-scale lol
Plus a Hydro Bomb is litterly 5x the size of Freespace...
I still don't see the appeal of 30 different KILL EVERYTHING IN SIGHT nukes and one or two normal accurately explosive bombs.

That's exactly my point. We don't have maps in the Source engine that are real life-size. So the larger bombs are pretty much useless since they swallow up the entire map.
Love the pack, especially the Space Bomb and the Daisy Cutter
BUT,
Wasn't there going to be Icons for the pack?
I know, small thing, but I don't have any.
check this out this is a icon pack for the Bomb pack ;P http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?a=view&id=59723
please help me whenever I spawn a bomb i get this error
autorun/server/wirelib.lua:791: attempt to call method 'SetNetworkedBeamString' (a nil value)
and then when I shoot the bomb I get this
entities/sent_bb/init.lua:121: attempt to perform arithmetic on field 'Integrity' (a nil value)
I have tried deleting the mod and downloading it again but it is still happening
I don't know why this is happening but I did just recover from a Gmod lua virus so that might of caused it I don't know
if you can help that would be cool
the first is a wire error, update it, the second I have never seen before.
thanks dude i shall be eternally grateful.
I think the second could be related to another mod actually...do you have any other explosives mods?
I think the second could be related to another mod actually...do you have any other explosives mods?
I get both errors because of WireMod not working.
Try deleting the three wiremod folders in your addons, and SVN checkout your addons folder.
Basically, go here and do everything it says to do. Hopefully, that works for you. That's how I fixed mine.
I took the temps roughly 20 seconds after it crashed, but don't think it's artifacting. Once it crashed I saw that my screen went completely black, meaning that there had been a disturbance in the PC to Monitor connection. After a few seconds of the black screen of death, I saw my wonderfully colored desktop.
In my past experiences with artifacts, there is no black screen, just BAM, lots of pretty colors. So I think it may have been an error with my drivers.
I know that was a while ago but it's weird when I blow up a small nuke or greater accidently and I'm looking at it like right in front of me (like just a cm or two away from it in game) I get what you described (The black screen like the monitor connection problem or w/e) and like 5-10 seconds later it just goes back to how it normally would be (I can keep playing the game) so I don't really know...
Hey, any chance you could make it to where they whistle when you drop them?
Oh, and if you're interested, I could make you some custom particle textures so you can have more variety.
Actually, what these need is advanced duplicator support.
I agree. I hate having to re-wire the bombs after saving them into Adv. Dupe.
Would you be able to do this Failure?

You could do that pretty easily with wiremod and a custom sound. I don't know if it'd be worth Failure's time to make the whistling sound for them.
The whistling sound would be cool, but it would also be annoying if you like dropping loads of them.
The whistling sound would be cool, but it would also be annoying if you like dropping loads of them.
True. It'd need to be a seperate entity, or togglable or something.
yea a whistling sound would be cool but what if it plays the sound every time you move it even the slightest. that would be annoying
yea a whistling sound would be cool but what if it plays the sound every time you move it even the slightest. that would be annoying
Even in Wiremod, you could wire a speedometer to a sound emitter, and set it so that the greater the speed, the louder the noise.
Basically, you'd have to move it a certain speed before it emits any sound at all.

And then it would be a sudden start, which would suck a bit.
And then it would be a sudden start, which would suck a bit.
What do you mean?
You can set the volume of the noise to start low, then as the speed gets faster, the volume gets louder. That could easily be done by using Arithmetic gates.

Oh yeah...I forgot about that.
