well, i detonated a space nuke on one side of sb_gooniverse, thinking i would be safe on the other side of the map. then i heard every constraint of my spaceship come apart, followed by my death.
Gbombs is awesome when combined with RagMod, since you don't die every time a can explodes.
I love Gbombs are awesome, only problem is nukes and some of the other explosives effecting (kill) you even on the biggest map from the other side of the map, in my experiences.
I you hide being a brush the bombs shouldnt kill you.

every time i use the gbombs if i die or use a very large explosion then my garrysmod crashes

As terribly stated this is, he's more than likely right. Upgrade your RAM, or get a new graphic card. Do something. If you can't handle something like Gbombs, you definitely are in need of an upgrade.
well i exceeded the recommendation for ram and other hardware but graphics is still in need of upgrading
but just in case if this info is useful, after the gbomb explodes it doesn't lag or studder it just immediately crashes

I have a GeForce 9800 GT and I hardly ever lag.
well i don't think its my graphics because i just used a nuke (not gbomb) and
it crashed exactly the same way it does with gbomb and i never had this problem
with that nuke until i got windows XpP pirated edition which has caused some problems
with my compter
