Same as before :s
Try this: http://github.com/downloads/sk89q/playx/playx-playlist-downloader.zip .NET Framework 3.5 required. Source is... unavailable. I accidentally deleted it... just to add to the fact that I already accidentally deleted all my Steam games this morning. Genius. I'm not sure it downloads all, but I am now not in a position to easily fix it anymore...
This is great, far better than a youtube player! It's awesome to go on a private house map with a brother, go into the basement to have a party, then watch some red dwarf! - this happened. Do you know of any good compatible sources that could play southpark episodes? I'm also surprised that it doesn't work with newgrounds, but i guess you can't have everything.
I don't know of any, sorry.
Add Hulu support, please?
what websites are supported?
Check the first post for a list.
Yeah, well. I'm getting a white screen and I believe I did everything in troubleshooting right but no video will come up.
List me the things that you attempted.
Could you possibly add a queue ability and maybe something so that if you paste a link in chat it will ask the admin that spawned the player if they want to play it. Having to copy and paste all the time can get annoying.
I tried all of these and tried fixing the datastream and still nothing. 1. Try playing a YouTube video from the list of default bookmarks. If this works, make sure whatever other type of file/video that you are trying to play works. 2. Make sure that you have Flash player installed, for both Internet Explorer and “other browsers.” Installation page: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/otherversions/ 3. If you have gm_chrome installed, disable it on the “Settings” panel. If this works, ask me about your problem. 4. Visit YouTube in Internet Explorer (outside Garry’s Mod) and try to play a video. If this works, ask me about your problem. 5. Uncheck “Use JW player” under the “Administrate” panel. If this works: 1. Make sure that the playx_jw_url cvar on the server is set to “http://playx.googlecode.com/svn/jwplayer/player.swf” 2. Otherwise, the default hosted version of JW player may not be working. Please report this error.
What exactly do you see? If it's a black screen, it might be flash. If it's a plain white screen, hit enter on all boxes then press the open media button again.
I tried all of these and tried fixing the datastream and still nothing. ...
Add me on Steam: sk89q.
how can you remove and add what websites are supported to play on?
What website are you interested in?
What website are you interested in?
megavideo and others like on alluc.org.
Those sites can't be played, unfortunately.
im haveing a problem with this. i put it on my server and for me it works epikly but no one else can see/hear the videos i put up... i was on another server and theyers were playing for everyone so idk if this is just mine or what. plz help?
What do they see?
so far from what theyv told me if i use the projector or that camera one they see absolutly nothing and if i use the tv or bilbored they see jsut a regular prop or an error if they dont have css.... its the same with custon props they dont see the player they just see a regular prop EDIT: srry for my terribal spelling/grammar i type faster then i think and i find it a meinial point aslong as ppl can understand me
First try reinstalling. Then, if that fails, add me on Steam (sk89q) and let me get onto the server.
lol wow my server is retarded it instaled and worked for me but no one else and then it crashes randomly and then it suddenly works -.- srry for the trouble
I just installed PlayX today, and tryed testing it out. It crashes me right when the video starts, but not while the video is loading. I tryed both the zip, and installer of gm_chrome, and i'm positive they both were in the right place. I've got flash installed for IE, and other browsers. I even tryed updating my java. Any ideas?
So it crashes for you regardless if you are using gm_chrome or not?
Yep, i tried disabling gm_chrome, then JW Player, still not working.
Try both viewing an image and loading a webpage (that does not contain Flash) in PlayX, with and without gm_chrome.
Try both viewing an image and loading a webpage (that does not contain Flash) in PlayX, with and without gm_chrome.
Both ran fine with GM_Chrome, i'll try without right now. And they both ran fine without GM_Chrome.
Well, you could try uninstalling Flash completely and reinstalling it. As another test, you could also try to play a Windows Media Player video in PlayX to see if it's plugins in general causing the crashes.
I tryed the flash uninstaller, and that only seemed to work for I.E, and so i re-installed the flash for i.e. and other browsers, stills crashing. For Windows Media Player i don't have a file for one, but am getting it now. Also, what do you mean by plugins?
Browser plugins extend the browser with features. Flash Player allows you to play Flash files in your browser, the Acrobat plugin allows you to view PDFs in your browser, etc. Try loading both of these pages in PlayX: http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/testpages/wmp9.html http://plugindoc.mozdev.org/testpages/wmp11.html I don't know if the video will be high enough to fit within the PlayX screen, but it's worth a try. Tell me if you see a black video box (below "...accompanied by a burning sound."), nothing, or it crashes for both. Also, what version of Internet Explorer do you have?
I keep getting this error if I try to play a video with gm_chrome enabled:
addons\playx\lua\playx\playx.lua:289: attempt to perform arithmetic on global 'length' (a nil value)
I've tried removing all of my addons and I still get the same error. It works if I disable gm_chrome or select "non-browsable webpage".
