Does this work with GMod 13 Beta because if so tell me. I get this error when using it in gmod 13

addons\playx\lua\entities\gmod_playx\init.lua

Is it possible for this to have a function like "RoomSound" so only those inside the room can hear it, or only those within X units can hear it?

Help, I have my own server I just started. My friend cant hear PlayX. He can hear everything else, just not PlayX. I can hear PlayX perfectly on my server. Any clue what the problem is and how I can fix it?

when i put a player down it works great on multiplayer, but my friend cant see it? it says "this video is currently unavailable"

Hey, i used to use PlayX alot, as it is awesome, but recently i upgraded to the newest version, 2.6. But whenever i try to use it now the video doesnt play, and i get this error
"addons\playx\lua\entities\gmod_playx\cl_init.lua:504] attempt to call method 'GetHTMLMaterial' (a nil value)"
over and over. any help would be appreciated.

The latest GMOD update broke it, I heard that Garry is working on a fix for that.

It would appear that super admins on your server are not admins, for some reason.

If you want to control access, then you should use some other access control system and get PlayX integrated somehow. For example, if you were using ULX, I believe that this code would integrate PlayX into ULX is:

I got it working. You just have to install the flash player for Chrome to get it to work. Will update GMod on Monday.

Noticed the new Garry's Mod update hit, went to go try out playx again, still isnt working. The lua error spam is gone but nothing plays, just a black screen.

The only references to getAttribute are these two javascript-lines inside sites.lua:

var flashVars = document.getElementById('video-player').getAttribute('flashVars');

Flash Player is installed.

This will probably be fixed, but it would be better if somebody could/can contact the maker directly, he probably forgot about this project and he should be reminded about.
