PlayX 2.x Media Player - Garry's Mod

I don't know why you rated spectrerocks post dumb, but I find his idea good and thats why I implemented it in my github branch for garrysmod 13 beta. So pressing your E/Use-key on the projector-prop disables or enables the playing just like the option in the panel does and did before. Client-side only of course, doesn't affect other players.

What do do you mean? For me only the stopping of video is broken at moment, which must be some kind of bug in garrysmod 13 because loading screen has same issue.

EDIT: Updated and tested, still not spawning.

The version I fixed is for 13 (see my [URL="http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=927313&p=37164115&viewfull=1#post37164115"]post[/URL] about github if you want it). I don't intend to fix it for 12 because 12 is dead anyway as soon garry releases 13 soon. If you are talking about the playx-13 one, then try again now, I uploaded my last fix a few minutes ago to github.

Sorry for the slight old bump, However does anyone know if the GM13 version is compatible with JW player, im trying run things through it and its not loading, default youtube however works fine

ziev, I deleted my beta branch from github, because everything I changed was merged a while back into sk89q's master branch where development is now going on. OMG For the life of me i cant get this to work. Im trying to get it so that when you walk in a room the playx plays( clientside) still playing server side and when you leave it stops. OR some type of volume thing. If anyone has any ideas msg me or reply back thanks!

I've seen on some servers they have a queue. How can I get this?

Is there any way to play files from my laptop? If not, is there a website where I can upload movies without being sued that's compatible with playx?... I'll pretty much like any information about the subject.

When i click on the PlayerX nothing pops up i dont see the place were i select my projector and screen to play the movie.
