MyBB Registeration - Garry's Mod

I made this for your system, i will be using it in my new gamemode. Thank you. Why is their a big empty space between the text entry's and the buttons Also what's with the answer field

There is the use of the answer field. You didnt read it, you dont know the answer, therefore you cant create an account. There is space there for no reason, im gonna crop it all down but as i said its just functionality, not looks.

[/QUOTE] That only works on very big rule lists just by skim reading for the answer you can see it I suggest doing a quiz or something like T&B did if you care so much about them reading the rules.

I will just do a tick box instead and have a secondary rule list that can be viewed all the time in game.

i dont really get this addon thing.. how are the clients suppose to register with out a derma menu?

The server automatically registers them with their current ingame name. This could prove problematic with the people that dont have british keyboards and have other langauge characters. I may do something like rtm beastx register system but at least make it look neater than that monstrosity.

[url]http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.5/en/charset-charsets.html[/url] Their are some characters but it's rare when you use the correct collation. I can't remember what I had chosen but I found it fixed problem with special alt codes.

You might need to set your forums to UTF8.

Im just saying when you get people with names such as: [B] ^7L^8O^3L[/B] You dont really want that showing on your forum now do you?

It would be nice if someone created a derma menu for this. :D

The one I had in the works included some important character checks, ability to link an existing account to the server, and a derma menu. I can't release it for 2 important reasons. Im on vaction and when I tried to connect to my desktop via RDC I found out I couldn't as a result of a hardrive failure(it broke disk doesn't spin). When I get back in a week or so I'll try to release an update.

Could anybody make this work with vBulletin or tell me what I need to do to make it work with vb.

For vBulletin it isn't so easy. It's possible but you would need to completely recode this.

You wouldn't have to recode it, it only takes a couple of extra queries.
