Add some middle-class cars, that are more suitable for role playing, not everyone should have expensive european sport cars.
Strangely, I'm having an issue not with the cars themselves or anything like that, but with "SCars Basic" in Workshop.
No matter what I try, the addon never even downloads. I used to have it and it worked fine, but then it tried to update, deleting the current version and failing to fetch the new one (adding the ".outdated" suffix to the existing one), meaning I no longer have Basic. It says I'm subscribed, but in-game it's not listed under installed addons, and attempting to download through the in-game addon interface fails every time. I click "Install", it says 100%/100% downloaded, and it still behaves as if I'd never installed it. No console or engine errors to report.
Some other addons (like Fallout SNPCs) are doing this same thing. I'm nowhere near the point where number of addons would be a problem (I only have 7...)

Can't exit hover mode (or am I doing it wrong).
Time travel mode occasionally fails (unless I am doing it wrong).
You can't go up and down when in time travel mode which makes it impossible to go up hills since you have no clip.
Rotating (moving mouse) when in time travel mode is glitchy.
Generally just play around with the vehicle and you should find these bugs.

Undoing cars while holding down the horn key causes the sound to continue until you type 'stopsound'.

The Seat also places some nice errors in the console:

This is still not something I can ignore. Would be great if we could find the source of the problem.
It's hard for me to try to solve it on my own since I'm simply not experiencing the issues.
Maybe you could try some stuff like downloading the latest graphics drivers, enabling/disabling lua jit,
disable all addons except for SCars to see if it's some kind of addon conflict issue or just fiddle around with your graphics settings.
The horn sound not stopping was my bad. That will be fixed in the next update.

Again, not sure if anything can be done with this but spawning a bus inside a bus causes a real physics breakdown and [I]can[/I] cause major lag.
Just wanna say again how awesome this mod is, the driving and all the options you have just is the best from all Gmod vehicles, ever. TDMcars look also way nice too, but the steering sucks so bad that I just can't really enjoy driving them.
I wish there was a SCar addon with the TDMcars models, like the Vice City addons, that would be SO awesome. :dance: Couldn't you arrange that with the author?
Also, an extra option for manual shifting would be nice, just under the other SCars control options but optional, with arrow up and arrow down or scrollwheel up/down so you can still look around or something.
Keep up the good work, Gmod without SCars would be boring :v:

What I meant was all the TDM cars (all of them not only those 4) but with the SCar system. So that you can spawn them through the Scar tab and not the vehicle tab where you have the shitty controls of the TDMcars.
SO basicly just more models but with the same driving and steering as SCars and NOT the TDM car driving from the vehicles tab.

SCars works a bit different from the normal vehicle base.
It would require model editing to convert the normal vehicles to use the SCar base.
I'm very bad at making models so I can't do it myself.
I can't really force TDM to convert all models. I'm just glad he converted some in the first place.
I'm sure he will add some more, can't expect everything happening over one day.
