i'm not trying to request anything here but danish no offence are you ever going to make any real pickup trucks like a ford f-350 or a dodge ram 3500 or a Chevy silverado 2500
The closest that we can get are the mid-size pickups such as the f-150 raptor or the RAM 1500 from games like Forza or NFS. I'm currently in the process of attempting to port the RAM and Frontier but am having issues currently because of lack of previous knowledge to porting.
On the other hand, the engine that handles garrys mod doesn't register the fact that anything heavier than 15 Lbs shouldn't really move around much in the bed.
And the fact that RP scripts aren't intended to utilize vehicles. There should be more utilization, examples
instead of "I need moar gunz, come a my hose an giv me gunz"
the gun dealer should be required to spawn the weapons at their place of choice and drive them to the customer, or the customer come and get them.
And the fact that we don't even have police cars yet you're posting "no offence but will you ever make real pickup trucks" means you haven't been following Danish's vehicle svn for long, until the rest of the pack is released and freemmaann finishes, we need to:
1. Avoid making any requests. Despite Danish's response of "they're wasting their time", he still goes through this thread for bugs that he might need to fix.
2. Overall, stop bugging freemmaann. I've asked him once and left it. Give his steam profile a weak to cool down. There's nothing that I hate more than to have someone constantly questioning me on completion of a project.
3. Enjoy what we've got. Use some of the pickups here already such as the GMC Sonoma or the Dodge RAM 1500 SRT-10.
That's all I have to say.

This pack could be of good use in Source Filmmaker, too. Would you mind uploading the models, sounds, and textures-only for SFM uses?
As someone said before, make your own skins for them to have them colored, and I'm pretty sure you can use them in SFM

I figured that, but too bad the engine sounds aren't included on SFM Box
Ah, well I dont do any SFM so :/
Speaking of SFM, it'd be nice to see car key models as well. (But not forget to make skingroup 1 on the cars colourable, a downside with SFM is that you can't colour models yet)
Perhaps TheDanishMaster should speak with SFM Box about this pack of cars, too?

I honestly don't care. If people prefer to download everything again instead of just copying the files to SFM, then they're just plain dumb.
I also said "car keys", re-created models of them (Plus bones or bodygroups for the key in or out, hopefully bones in case of bone manipulators like in SFM!)
Lastly, it seems SFM can't colour anything but TF2 hats unless you have models with $color2 in the VMTs.
Well, atleast he isnt requesting cars...

Would the keys from SCars work?
Thats only a view model I think, no world model, and it doesn't look like a key at all, more like a remote
Hey, does anyone know how I can set the default skin for a vehicle when it's spawned?
My case in point is spawning the 'Charger str8' with a custom police skin found on the steam workshop, without having to use easybodygroup/c - to change the skin, is this possible?
I read through the previous pages looking for an answer but didn't find anything directly relating to me, maybe someone can help me?
Thanks.
Is the new Camaro released now? Not the 69' one, the one thats the most recent model? And does the SVN automatically update?
Is the new Camaro released now? Not the 69' one, the one thats the most recent model? And does the SVN automatically update?
Think the Camaro was released, need to hop on to be sure. And SVN doesn't automatically update. But as long as you have either recently installed/recently updated your SVN it wont take long at all, maybe a minuet (disclaimer: time depends on YOUR download speed).

Might not be on the SVN, but it's on the Workshop. (No picture of it there, but it's on the list in the description)
Speaking of which, is there any benefit to using both SVN and the Workshop releases, or should I stick to one?
My server uses SVN, and the camero is on there

Everything that is released on the workshop is on the SVN. No benefit to using both at the same time. In fact you could be increasing load time, not sure since I'v never had a SVN and a workshop of the same addon, by having both. Even with the workshop I still prefer SVNs. SVNs can be larger than workshop files, also it allows you to consolidate everything into one file in the addons folder. Every addon you subscribe to shows up in your addon folder. So you could have a bunch of TDM files, or one. SVN just looks nicer. On the other hand the workshop is easier to use and automatically updates. It's really up user preference.
How do i change the speeds of the cars? The audi goes way to fast for downtown.

Check the scripts folder of your TDM cars, there's a folder for each car and you can edit the speeds among other editable variables.

with the porting i think danish has ported a tractor from farming simulator 2011 i know that there are mods for those trucks on that game so that's what i think and that's the only reason i asked.
and I've only been following danishes svn since 2012
Alright also is there a way to make them explode from damage from crashing, weapons ect....?
That requires a separate mod, I don't believe TDM cars has that installed by default, if I'm correct it was vcmod/vumod that allowed damage on the cars? but they are outdated I believe, I may be mistaken, you'll have to check it out yourself.
Ya vu mod doesnt do that anyone else know the mod
To update the SVN, do I just like install it again? Or is there a different way?
To update the SVN, do I just like install it again? Or is there a different way?
R click on the folder you checked all the stuff out to, and then click svn update.
