Danish, could you do a video about Forza 4/Forza 3 ripping? Because I really want the models :D
DanishMaster you are the best Modeller and car scripter i have ever seen in my life. to steal the DL's from Scars just add tanks and make the vehicles blow up and parts fly off when exploded (RPG to the knee)

I rather like the TDMCars simplicity. Not as heavy as scars and much easier to mold into what you want. They can be built into gamemodes with ease. A vehicle mod addon with locking systems was only a few lines of code with TDM.

Only if it was possible to implement with lua coding.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE Some new behavours, improve the path finding, avoidance of incomming object. Also make it be able to backup.
Taken directly from the to do list on vcmod.net. Seems like we will get some AI that is a little more complex than the SCars AI. We all know SCars' AI doesn't avoid obstacles for example. I think we should just wait for it and see how freemmaann would do it. But I do not see any need to compare two mods if one isn't even released yet. Also after it's release there is no need for this, since both will have their pros and cons and there will always be some people who will violently try to make people believe that only one of them is the only answer. But just imagine the awesomeness of these cars combined with the features of VCMod.
1st thing have you ever heard of tortoise SVN
Actually be more in-depth with your reply. That was unnecessary and made your reply completely ignored and worthless. -snip- Just looked on the VCMod Website, it's the vehicle damage. Sorry
If only we had better vehicle base physics in GMOD. Then damage would be real exciting

Sakarias's cars are easy to use, flexable at creation and quicker at run time. Each one having pros and cons its up to users to decide which one is best for each user. Worked on VCMods obstacle avoidance task for a long time, can predict movement of upcomming obstacles, then try to avoid them, knows when the obstacle is climbable. If the obstacle is small or breakable it tries to ram through it. Still need to do if the obstacle is an NPC or a player it would honk the cars horn or something tho and not try to ram it instead, but yeah, close to finished.
TDM's cars and VCMod will stun a lot of people. The work of both of you is impressive.

Cars can't search for entity_player or whatever it is.
Doesn't really work in real life the way you do it in garry's mod. Cars can't search for entity_player or whatever it is.
What are you talking about?
Doesn't really work in real life the way you do it in garry's mod. Does anyone happen to know anything regarding the "too many indices for index buffer tell a programmer" error? Every now and then, a big chunk of my players get kicked off by their game crashing to the desktop with this error.

I think it might have to do with that Cheese-Dream last night where I was seeing cheese everywhere, then I got this error and exited out to the void of my mind. Anyways... Sounds like it might be something on GMod's side, but I'm not positive.

If you're close to the car, you'll crash because your game is rendering the overlay even if you're not looking. However if you're far away, it won't render which is why only some people crash That console command prevents you from crashing because no overlays will be rendered on the car. Why are the cars SO hard to turn??
Why do overlays break on the cars?
Because Source is not built for handling models with that much detail.

Bugbait. Never seen it happen from bulletholes though, I did go try but couldn't get it to crash me.

does this work for mac?
does this work for mac?
No, only for linux.
