Was the Porsche Cayenne model ever uploaded onto Workshop? I can only find a Porsche Cayman on Workshop.

The Cayman's by a different author, mate. I think he'll do a Porsche pack soon though.

Thats why the svn is better. Idk why people dont use it
Thats why the svn is better. Idk why people dont use it
Primarily because of Operating System restraints. I only have my macbook that I got for school to play Gmod on now, and since Garry broke addons for it when it got updated from Gmod 12 to Gmod 13, some of us HAVE to rely on the workshop release. It's not ideal, and while I COULD try a dual-boot, my computer would have maybe half the RAM to work with to operate, which is bad since I only have 4GB. That's talking in terms of a virtual dual-boot, which is free, but the alternative is paying several hundred bucks(which I don't have) for a full install.
-text-
As you know, I too am using a mac, but I don't see where you have problems running either SVN or Workshop, I can run both just fine. I don't know if you found it yet, but Tortoise SVN isn't the only SVN out there, I have on that runs just fine, in fact faster than Tortoise for me! I'll try and find the name of it if you want.

I think you misunderstood me. I know how to operate and update an SVN: I did so ever since I got this thing to update Sickness and TDM cars. however, since the changeover, I cannot use legacy addons, I can only use workshop addons. I don't suppose there's a new script out there that's an altered version of the Legacy Addon script that can run on macs, is there? I know that the Legacy Addon script didn't work with Macs when it came out, not sure if that's still the case.
Just backup all the stuff you want and manually delete Garry's Mod, then just reinstall? I would do this if you want to do a 100% reset of the game, it might work. Also I didn't mean that you didn't know how to operate SVN, was just pointing it out for other users if they're having trouble.
Am I the only one still interested/excited for Mercedes-Benz?
Also, here is something to light everyone up.

Ah, alright. and don't worry, I think it might be due to my wording that might've confused you a bit.

Also, while I'm not usually interested in Beamers or Mercs, I am interested in seeing what Danish will do when he updates his Merc pack. Like I said before, I'd like to see him come out of left-field and make a Unimog or something.
My request for a Sprinter got disqualified. So, I might be going to *creator name classified* to get one made.

Lemmie guess, not in Forza or Driver SF?

Also, if it needs an interior I could punch one out. I'm about halfway done with the Rally fighter's interior (needs integral rollcage and dash details) so if you don't mind a longer dev cycle on that I can punch out a good dash for it. The mid 2000s-dash is actually rather easy to make, since I'm already familiar with doing Daimler-Chrysler's design language(see Aspen).
No. I accidentally asked for the same model twice so it got taken out. My mistake.
EDIT:
I have heard a lot of talk about how the new Ram Pro Master looks like a Fiat Ducato. The reason being, is because the Italian brand Fiat, now owns Chrysler brand.
Chrysler brand owns the following: Dodge, Chrysler Commercial, Jeep, Ram.

Ah, I remember he usually only does models from those games, so I thought that'd be why, but whatever.

That'd be because the Promaster IS a fiat with a dodge badge on the hood. Fiat acquired Chrysler after it separated with Daimler.

I still think they should've changed the front end more, btw. Those headlights look like the eyes on a Japanese Oni demon.

Yeah I know it's a 'rebadge' but I think they could have changed it a bit. So I guess I agree with you.
OFF TOPIC: Page 45 already! This thread is moving fast!

I saw a photoshop render a while back with it having the front end of a Ram 1500 on it that looked kinda cool. I think it would've looked better if they did that rather than just changing the grille insert. Lemmie see if I can find it.

I hate RAM so that is disgusting. This, for some reason appeals to me though. (Actually, anything the NYPD has appeals to me. I am an emergency service vehicle person so that's why.)

Eh, Ram's not on top of my styling ladder either, but I wouldn't call it disgusting. I find Fiat's styling more disgusting, honestly, because the Promaster looks like it has this for a face:

Now, that's perfectly cool by itself, but I sure as shit wouldn't design a car to have its headlights look like those eyes, because they look like they're trying too had for the RRRR! ANGRY HEADLIGHTS! look.
That Fiat Ducato van is rebadged by just about every brand. We have a peugeot, there is a renault, citroënand fiat. I'm not sure which brand did it first, if any.
Oh my god I spat my food out laughing when I saw that van picture, it looks like a fat truck or something stranger
Oh my god I spat my food out laughing when I saw that van picture, it looks like a fat truck or something stranger
That's kinda why I find it a bit appealing, actually. I always preferred my vans to be truckish: I am the one who requested an A-Team Vandura skin, after all, and GMC makes the most truckish vans of all.
I get that they're all the same company or whatever, But I think its really shit that loads of car companies do the same design (Like the Fiat Ducatto). Its like they release the same bloody thing and expect the public to eat it up 3 times over.

Well to be fair it's pretty rare for rebadged vehicles to go on sale in the same market, I mean take GM for instance. You get Chevrolet, Vauxhall, Opel and Holden all selling basically a very similar lineup of cars with pretty much the same body, chassis and engines but you don't see very many in the same place. It's just a way for them to save on development costs by using branding, done to appeal to different markets: the USA, UK, Europe and Australia respectively.

That is true. Just wish they put a bit of effort into that one, like the new Chevy Colorado, for example. When they introduced it in Brazil in 2012, it looked like this:

The US didn't like it much though, due to the styling looking like a lifted Chevy Malibu, so it was redesigned to this for our market:
[t]http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/2015-Chevrolet-ColoradoZ71-005.jpg[/t]
Now they put some real effort into it. They changed the sheetmetal, the headlights, and the grille. The styling is more 'truckish', while still going with a consistent theme with Chevy's other cars(namely, the Impala, Volt, and Camaro). That Fiat van that's now a Ram? It has a new Grille insert and amber turn signals. That's it. Feels kinda lazy, y'know?
