I love the Stacker STool, however it has one major problem, when it stacks something, the material doesn't come with it. Is there a way to add the certain skin to the stacked props? Like when i use spacebuildmodelpackalpha2, i use a certain skin for a prop, but when i stack it it the stacked prop becomes another skin. Is there perhaps a material changer STool? I can't find it ;/ Regards, Pete
Is there any way to retain the weight (and perhaps health data) for stacked props? Perhaps also it could have somekind of "% of prop width/height/depth" option, so that in addition to specifying exactly how many units between each stacked prop you could specify the gap in relation to the prop itself. Hope that makes sense. Also, if you feel like making a truly awesome addition....how about somekind of "Stacker SEnt" with Wire compatibility (a little like the STool turret). This could be very useful for automated factories and perhaps "builder-bots". :)
Is this still being worked on? It'd be very useful if it could be made compatible with the Lifesupport stuff. I just tried stacking a bunch of solar panels but I got this as console spam: entities/energy_solar/init.lua:61: attempt to index field 'environment' (a nil value) followed by this once: RD2\sv_resource2.lua:666: Dev_Unlink_All: Entity is not valid!
Small bump for a update, v2.6 : +Added a hook that will be called everytime a ent is stacked, arguments are : ply (player) ent(The main ent) stacked(Table with all the ents created by the stacked). + Added a anti a small anti spam protection, you can only use the stacker every second and spawn a maximum of 30 props per stack,(Variables can be changed it the file itself). - Fixed the in world stack protection. It seems like the stacker tool doesn't look at the limits set for each prop by the uppl limits addon. IE, I have uppl_explosivebarrel = 10 (I know that's not the exact name of it, don't remember it off the top of my head). Spawning them one by one, or advance duping them works and notifies the user they reached the limit. However, they can stack more than 10. Is it possible to get the stacker tool to pay attention to the uppl prop limits? Thanks!
can some one give me a "map as to where it should be because it doesn't work for me"

hi there i made some modifications to ol_stacker and i thought i might share them as well: [list] [*]Moving the mouse cursor (in the context menu for instance) does no longer switch the ghosted entity, but stays on the target under the crosshair this patch also makes it slightly more efficient by using the GetEyeTrace line of functions (see the [url=http://wiki.garrysmod.com/wiki/?title=Player.GetEyeTrace#Additional_Notes]manual[/url]) [*]stacker doesn't reset the checkbox "Stack relative to new rotation" anymore, which i found quite annoying. your mileage may of course vary :) [/list] kevkev: if you like those changes, could you integrate them with the official release? I just noticed it still stacks the prop you click with the mouse, although it's not being ghosted. This could be fixed, but i think it's useful and intuitive behaviour, so i think it should be kept.
Why remove the click while contex menu is up thing? i mean i use it a lot and with your code it will ignore the cursors position and goes for the ent that is really at the center of your screen, however i did change the reset for the checkbox, uploading in a sec. with my code, it will still stack the entity that is under your cursor, but it wont ghost based on that entity anymore, but based on the entity on the crosshair. my patch merely changes the display. i found it useful when fine-tuning the offset values.

Sorry for bump, but the first post needs to be edited, it is too confusing when trying to get a simple addon as such (simple but useful). Its really annoying doing a gmod.org search to find 10 or 20 of the same addon that look the same but may be a tiny bit different, like someone changing author name to get credit.
