Zombies down spawn for me, even though there is a nav mesh, what am I doing wrong?
I modified the readme since I keep getting this question.
Move the contents of the DATA folder into garrysmod/garrysmod/data
Move the contents of the MAPS folder into garrysmod/garrysmod/maps
Move the contents of the MODULES folder into garrysmod/garrysmod/lua/bin
You should have checked this out into garrysmod/garrysmod/gamemodes/Vein
Be sure to check for the files below before asking for help:
- The file garrysmod/garrysmod/data/Vein/navmeshes/gm_construct.nav should exist if you installed the data folder right.
- The file garrysmod/garrysmod/maps/rp_v_sacrifice_1.bsp should exist if you installed the maps folder right.
- The file garrysmod/garrysmod/lua/bin/gmsv_navigation_win32.dll should exist if you installed the modules folder right.
Make sure those files are where they should be.
any news on this?
No
I currently have a server running this to who it interests;
74.91.117.43:27015
This may sound as a silly question, but is it playable in Singleplayer aswell?
Sure. Be sure to create multiplayer and make it a local server - I don't think it works in regular singleplayer. I'll have to do some testing with that.
Hey guys, I just got my server working for this. The IP is still 74.91.117.43:27015
You will need rp_bangclaw installed though.
Any suggestions for barricades before I push the update?

Looks great so far diss, can't wait to see the other stuff I spoke to you about :v:
It would probably be better to do them, making PVP something you have to roleplay.
Rping combat is literally the stupidest thing ever. You always end up in an argument like "waaa u can't lift your gun that fast"
If you rely on normal combat, no arguments, what happens happens and there is no arguimg whether what is possible or not
Guns dont need reloading
is this going to stay like this or are you going to add reloading?
Just implement it yourself
Maybe barricades can take one to three hits before breaking entirely? Other than that they're sweet.
v175
- New map: rp_v_terminal_1
- Barricading! Use a plank while looking at a door.
- Weapon items no longer need a model (they use the weapon's worldmodel)
- Added ITEM.Sound for items; path to sound played when the item is taken from a container. None of the items have it by default, since it can get annoying but feel free to add it in
- Removed sh_trading.lua
- Removed v_give concommand
- Removed v_item entity
- Fixed panic occuring in unspawned players
- Fixed short form of rpa giveitem not working when looking at a container
- Started work on some secret things :~)

wait, so no trading?
No, I just deleted an empty lua file
Not many servers with this up :(
Wait so is there trading or not now?
Wait so is there trading or not now?
No, I deleted trading because I want to remove working features in each update. That way I can dismantle it entirely by update 350.

calm down, Garry

I'm being serious...is it removed or not?
I'm being serious...is it removed or not?
Me too. I've started working backwards. For example, in the next update I removed zombies.

Awesome! This gamemode would be so epic if you removed them!
But seriously, what do you guys most want to see next?
This might be a stupid question as I've been out of the GMod scene for a few months, but does this have gamemode have Linux support?
what about random ents on streets? like your walking and see a hammer on the ground, you can pick it up.
the propane bomb doing something

If the modules have linux support, the gamemode does.

I'm avoiding physical items in the gamemode. They're laggy, easy to exploit and easy to lose, in ANY gamemode.

I made an OpenAura ESP a while back that showed where and what items were. You can do this in any gamemode, as scriptenforcer can be easily worked around. I then made a simple script that duplicated items that only worked because of lag: I can ask the server for the item faster than it can delete the item, thus giving me multiple copies (note that the gamemode itself had code to prevent this sort of thing). It still works in whatever the newest Conna script is. Admins are silly and items are easily lost in corners or under overhangs or similar small spaces.
When items are a focal point of your gamemode (food, pain, damage, ammo, weapons etc being what they are) you absolutely cannot let this happen.
