My point was that it was unrelated and had no meaningful response to this thread. Maybe tell us how clockwork is better and please don't say "It has gradients on the HUD / Derma". Anyways, what's everyone working on now? It's been awhile since I've asked that. [editline]1[/editline] Woo 500 posts.
Clockwork looks better.
Who cares? Let the two frameworks have their differences. Nutscript is more simplistic while Clockwork is more detailed, that doesn't mean one has to be better than the other.

I got universal combine barrier. It's going to be converted as Plugin. :D [t]http://i.imgur.com/H9aIODE.jpg[/t]
I got universal combine barrier. It's going to be converted as Plugin. :D [t]http://i.imgur.com/H9aIODE.jpg[/t]
It looks exactly like it does in Hl2 :')
It looks exactly like it does in Hl2 :')
Yeah it looks quite different to the typical forcefield plugins you see. I don't know why. (Likely a different texture otherwise I'm talking s*it).
You can make the combine barrier without any limitation. Since it doesn't use any prop, You have unlimited size. Also It emits sound if you're touching the barrier. The collision model is initialized in clientside, You will not get strange jittering when you're passing through the barrier. :DD

I want compare it to my Force Field :v:
You will not get strange jittering when you're passing through the barrier. :DD
I have to say that's one thing I hated about forcefield plugins on CW. I bet It's nothing to do with CW but rather the plugin code. (I believe it was HaloKillers). But yeah, being forced through it was a pain in the ass. I look forward to this release. I won't be running HL2RP but It will be useful for others.
I made the forcefield plugin originally on openAura and then it got ported to Clockwork.

(Hrm, relatively big bump... :S) I just had an idea: Maybe, if possible, a citizens CID Number could be printed on their model on the back and chest? It might be able to happen with the same printing that the vending machine uses, but I'm not coder.
(Hrm, relatively big bump... :S) I just had an idea: Maybe, if possible, a citizens CID Number could be printed on their model on the back and chest? The vending machine doesn't really move and when it does it keeps the same shape whereas a playermodel has various ways of changing due to bone rigging. So I'm just taking a stab here and saying that it would be pretty damn hard without the text floating behind them.
It's not, there are bones. The problem is it would look unrealistic and ugly.
Okay, just an idea to prevent 99999 citizen models being made.
It's not, there are bones. The problem is it would look unrealistic and ugly.
so long as it doesn't glow it could be alright i guess
My concern is that when using this script.. Do you still appear on the CW HL2Rp server listing? Or do you drop to a whole different one, As if it's another gamemode.
My concern is that when using this script.. Do you still appear on the CW HL2Rp server listing? Or do you drop to a whole different one, As if it's another gamemode.
You will drop to another listing under NS Half Life 2 Roleplay but you can always change that so you appear in the CW or normal HL2RP lists, It's easily done and I know some people who do that to get popularity.
Do you have a quick list on how to do it? Sorry, I like the script alot, but I don't want to get my players lost until they understand the transition.

Seriously, just take initiative and keep the name. The more servers, the higher the ranking. It is not going to happen magically.
At the risk if sounding like a total idiot, I am fairly new to how HL2RP Schemas work, I do not need to buy clockwork for this correct? Sorry, I'm probably "that guy".

Here is a complete guide: http://chessnut.info/wiki/Server_Setup

inb4 some guy changes it to CW:NewHL2RP changes the name on the loadscreen and shit and says he coded it you heard it here first everyone also im shamefully back
You guys should make a Combine console that displays the population density of each area on the server in a list. I think that would be neato.
Rainbow what about posting an SUGGESTION on GITHUB on CHESSNUTS HL2RP SCHEMA/NS SCHEMA? *boom me now an smartass*
