There was a gmod update yesterday so i'm guessing something got fucked up. I didn't do anything with the respawn code recently but i'll double check it. edit: Nope, it works fine on my end. Remove all your addons and try running the gamemode on ts_annex. I did all my tests on that map and there were no errors or anything.
oh god damnit i'm an idiot. i changed the spawnpoints for the teams without testing it at all and i guess i forgot about that before committing. murder my shitty balls and fart in my mouth update your servers. also, laser sights now follow your weapon when you reload and the glock has been replaced with a USP.

Uses 100% of your energy. • ESP - This ability is enabled/disabled by toggling your flashlight button as the stalker. When ESP is enabled, you can see where soldiers are through walls. However, while ESP is active, your energy will not replenish and your overall vision becomes darker. The energy used by psychic attacks will slowly regenerate over time. In addition to having psychic abilities and being invisible, the stalker can also jump to high areas, run faster than soldiers, and can cling to walls. The stalker's health is dynamically generated at the start of the round based on how many soldiers there are on the enemy team. The stalker loses 1 health every 3 seconds but regains health with each kill so this encourages him to actively hunt soldiers. The soldiers have their own tools for hunting the Stalker. There are 4 different, equally balanced primary weapons to choose from, as well as 4 different secondary weapons and 4 utilities. Their flashlight runs off battery power and if your battery reaches 0% charge then there is a small delay before it starts recharging. The recharge rate for the battery is slower than its drain rate so you have to manage your flashlight use. Primary Weapons: • The SG 552 - A scoped rifle with high accuracy. Magazine size of 30. • The FN P90 - A SMG with lower accuracy but a larger magazine and a higher rate of fire. Magazine size of 50. • The SPAS 12 - A powerful close range semi-automatic weapon. Magazine size of 6. • The FAMAS G2 - A 3-shot burst rifle with moderate accuracy and damage. Magazine size of 30. Secondary Items: • Portable Sensor - You are given 1 tripmine which can be planted on any solid surface. These alarms will trigger when their laser beam is distorted. They can be moved but have a short delay before they activate. • USP Compact - A pistol with unlimited ammo. Useful if you are less careful with ammo conservation. • Medikit - Heals 30 health on the owner. Can be used only once. • NV Range Scanner - A handheld scanner which augments your vision. Primary fire will make the scanner consume battery power and emit a visible wave which will detect The Stalker (only for you). Utilities: • Improved Recharger - Your battery recharges faster. • Laser Module - Attaches to your weapon. Useful if your aim is bad (there are no crosshairs on weapons so this is the closest thing). • Extra Ammunition - Additional ammunition (1 extra magazine) for your primary weapon. • Lightweight Armor - Additional movement speed. I will be releasing it on the workshop when i can. [b]What got changed from the last version?[/b] Secondary pistols are now a choice instead of something you're given automatically. Primary weapons will have less ammo but you have the choice of picking an ammo perk if you want more. I changed psychokinesis because it was really cheap and required no actual skill. Telekinesis will be something that you need to actually aim properly in order to use effectively. I removed the radar because it was mostly useless. I removed tracker bullets because they were cheap (and relied on the radar to actually be useful). I removed the UV Flares because they were shitty and promoted camping. [b]What do you need?[/b] Maps. I need more maps. Preferably indoors maps with a few props (like crates, barrels, etc) scattered around. Lots of high areas and places where the stalker can hide are good. Avoid adding lots of cramped areas. A mixture of dark and light areas are good too. Outdoors areas are less desirable and less atmospheric in my opinion. An example of a good indoor map would be dm_lockdown from hl2mp except that map is a bit too big. [b]Hosting[/b] All you need in order to host is the content pack, the gamemode, and some maps. Some tips for hosts: - Set your mapcyclefile, it's what this gamemode uses. - Make sure the gamemode content is on your server. - Use sv_pure to make sure there are no people using material hacks. I updated my server to r120 and now when I join my server my console (clientside) gets spammed with this error. So I guess something that has changed between r116 and r120 is causing the clientside error spam.

Is anyone noticing lasersight issues on their dedis (updated to the most recent version)? I'm testing in a local server and lasersights work fine, so something must be going on.
Does the gamemode search for maps itself or do we have to list them some where?
You need to download the maps and put them in your server's folder. Use a mapcyclefile so your server uses the maps.

Hello. I was wundering if i could get a hold of the gamemode for my 16 slot server? Me and my friends are very eager to play this mod, and we love it. Would be awesome :D
I have noticed this error printed quite often in the server console. Not sure if it is a Stalker related problem or due to GMOD update 152, but only my Stalker servers seem to have it. I committed a fix (hopefully) for that bug.
Okay so bullets now work properly. No more hacky workarounds. I think this gamemode is ready for a workshop release if there are no more pressing bugs.

I watched the gameplay video on the workshop page and noticed that the player halos only appear if you're looking directly at them. Figured I'd make a suggestion to have them fade overtime after looking away from them. There are other maps floating around out there, most of them aren't that great. You can search gmod.org and other places for them. I personally do not endorse many other maps except for ts_oversight.
Is there anyway to make it so the stalker is chosen randomly instead of who killed it?
I have a 32 slot server, would there be any conflicts with it being this many players ?

You need maps with clearly defined spawn points for two separate teams. It would be nice to have more maps made specifically for this gamemode.
