--probably best if I snip this--
Easier != correct or most efficient I can't imagine how much of a disaster the world would be if people did everything the easy way instead of the correct way.
Very true I will be fixing some stuff once I get power back!
When i start the server and i join the server i fill my mysql login things in the tab an when i press on Submit MySQL Info then nothing happen nothing i thing i habe mysqloo and tmysql4 but im not sure pls help
If you are not getting a chat message this mostly is because you have tmysql4 installed incorrectly I will be making a help video on this soon (when I get power)
https://github.com/XxLMM13xXgaming/gbay/issues/1 More than that. If the solution to this is a function that can be exploited through circular referencing then I'm not sure there's any hope I agree that this is a neat idea and all, but ideas are only good if the creator actually learns from past mistakes and avoids making them again...
I agree that my past projects have not been the best however I have definitely improved since. Again I will be fixing a lot of stuff
Hate to be a bummer here, no one wants to talk on Live Chat with you. Especially if it's offline and you have to send an email.
Well then they aren't gonna get much support unless it's here
How to install TMYSQL4?
How to install TMYSQL4?
I will be making a video shortly about this!
Ditch the live chat. It's a neat thing but it's not what you want for this project.
Ditch the live chat. It's a neat thing but it's not what you want for this project.
Don't see the issue with it. It's a form of support for people to use i'm not having countless people add me on steam like I have been already
I would leave it all to a publicly accessible place, like a thread on the game's forum, where everyone will be able to see what questions were posted and the solution to them.
They can ask here and if its a commonly asked question ill add it to the help menu!
They can ask here and if its a commonly asked question ill add it to the help menu!
99% of people will never look at the help menu.
They can ask here and if its a commonly asked question ill add it to the help menu!
Majority of people using your Gbay at the moment are on here. Any people using it on the steam workshop will comment on steam workshop page. No reason to use your support site. Only reason you should be having your site is to show off gbay and show previews and whats being worked on next similar to how freemann does it.
99% of people will never look at the help menu.
Thats fine but its there to help when players need.. well help! So i will use that website for updates n stuff however it is there for support and it has worked for many people already.. Still no issue with it

Hey LMM, for you're tracker you may want to whitelist of have a whitelist for server IPs, otherwise someone can create a timer and fuck your you're database.
Hey LMM, for you're tracker you may want to whitelist of have a whitelist for server IPs, otherwise someone can create a timer and fuck your you're database.
I don't really 100% need my tracker but there are checks online on the webside to see some stuff
Version 1.1.0 is now live! It has been a while since i worked on gbay but i have made some styling fixes + bug fixes! Once more bugs get reported i will sort them out! NOTE: You may have to restart your server after entering the MySQL info and do it again however you SHOULD only have to do it 2 times... (current bug known) Thanks for supporting gbay!
Finally done with wrestling with the In-Game MySQL configuration. Version 1.1.5 is now out and you will now need to enter mysql info in your config... (lua/gbay/config/mysqlconfig.lua) all other config remains in-game still... Again.. Thanks for supporting GBay!
Hey, im having issues with Gbay, after installing all the content needed and installing MySQL and all that other stuff, but when I type "!gbay", I get a never ending loading screen. Ive gone into the config and added the info for the my SQL database, but ive probably got it wrong.

Sounds like your database is not connecting.
No errors appear in the console as far as im aware. I will do some further investigating later this evening.

GBay MySQL Error: Table 'parallax_gbay.serverinfo' doesn't exist. I made a database called "parallax_gbay", so where it asked for the database in the config, I put "parallax_gbay"
