Okay, here's one for you. A friend told me about this one. He was in a build server, right? He and a friend were building a large fortress up in the air partially above a lake. From the heights they were working a fall to the ground would be fatal, and was, because mp_falldamage was set to 1. So he's welding something down, but all of the sudden it spazzes, catapulting him off the edge of the fortress. He would have fallen to his death had he not landed in a shallow puddle of water below, magically saving him and negating all fall damage. So the myth is this: If you fall from a great height, can a puddle of water a few inches deep save your life?

Some one told me you can build an escape pod type rocket and launch from the earth to the moon in Gm_solarsystem, but i could never do it... This rocket has no stableizers, and only thrusters to get it there. Nothing for steering... Ya'll should give that a try...

How can the SMG shoot a grenade? It's so small.

how about this? Myth: in gmod, submersibles are at a minimum. the only successful one i have seen is using hoverballs. maybe you could try to invent other ways of a submersible?

I propose a physics test, sorry if it seems a bit too complex to understand, but here: Will a spherical object, say, the bomb, be propelled straight if you attach a thruster to any side with a weight setting of 0? Because in theory if you could apply a force to a sphere in real life, with a perfect weight of he sphere of course, it would go perfectly straight, or perhaps be affected by gravity in some strange way. And of course with this test comes another: what happens if you [i]don't[/i] set the thruster's weight to 0?

It spazzes, flying everywhere and possibly hitting someone. Hilarity ensues.

hehe, or does it? That is the test. In theory with a weighted thruster (in real life) would go straight up, I believe, and without it would spin out of control.

I got some myths 1.you cannot survive a nuke with god mode and buddha on if you are 100ft away 2.if you make a wooden train and make wooden wills it will get destroyed on the track 3.you can make a rocket using only doors.

I have a myth: Can you make a prop car drivable, and blow it up without harming the player. See if you can do that!

i think there should be a revisit episode if anyone has a myth they would like gmod mythbusters to redo please post them. Also i think il try to do more movie style ejector seat method's like hover ball's etc

In a recent myth. (the one about all objects falling at the same rate) That only works in a vacuum because you have to compensate the effects of air resistance. A feather has low mass and has a ton of air resistance so the feather falls slower than a baseball with more mass and less air resistance. The more mass the greater ability to overcome air resistance. Please tell me if I'm wrong about the Myth busters gmod team thing being wrong. I don't understand what makes myth busters think that all objects should fall at the same rate in source. Is there no air?

Heh, I remember, about 2-3 years ago, I started this idea in GMOD. It was a one man team, so my work never really impressed others. So far, you guys are doing a great job, keep it up.
